July 31, 200817 yr Hey, I even liked Gothic 3. A lot. Not my favourite of the series, but I played through it once (took over 100 hours!) and am currently replaying it with the latest patches. I somehow learned to live with the technical problems and the shallowness of the old companions. 5 days, 22 hours to go. July 31, 200817 yr I'm also looking forward to this. I never got into Gothic until Gothic 3, but I really liked that one. Never did finish it though, my computer could only handle that much. I really should replay it now that I have a computer up to snuff.

And the picture has moved closer to the volcano, with a new timer counting down two weeks from now. August 19, 200817 yr Less than a day to go: http://risen.deepsilver.com/ I think they'll be showing a pre-rendered introduction movie for the game. The developers have said there won't be any in-game graphics shown. They don't want to repeat the mistake they did with Gothic 3, when they showed early screenshots of features that were later cut from the game.
