I was struck by a couple of things. 1. 100 death is pretty low, especially once you get past the headline and discover that only 60 of these were due to enemy action. 2. 3 deaths in a single incident is, again, hardly Vietnam era engagements 3. As the CO Afghanistan says, the shift from 'true' Afghan firefights to suicide bombers highlights how un-Afghan the Taliban are. Thoughts with the families and friends. "It wasn't lies.
