samm
Damn, I'm still excited, and no one posted about this here yet, it seems. So... Some of the best game scores are composed by Mark Morgan, who was a very elusive person. Until now! Planescape: Torment and Fallout-Soundtracks fans rejoice, for he has a website! Here: http://www.markmorganmusic.com/ Pretty industrial, it seems. There's also an interview on a russian website: here We'll hear more soon. Most interesting: He seems to want to put MP3s in higher quality up on his site. Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
Pop
I know I loved the score to Torment Planescape. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
kirottu
One must respect guy who has pictures of himself from the "grazy hair" period of the 80s. This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
Pop
He says Nine Inch Nails and Clint Mansell inspired him, and given that I don't really find his protestations of ignorance to the Aphex Twin to be all that believable. However, his not-at-all-subtle reproductions of Aphex Twin songs could very well have turned out the way he describes. Pre-filesharing it would've been difficult to get a copy of Selected Ambient Works Vol. 2 Edited April 1, 2008 by Pop Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality! Meshugger
No news on what his next project will be? "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy

J.E. Sawyer
I didn't know he did the music for Zork Nemesis. That game had cool music. twitter tyme
Musopticon?
I wasn't aware of Zork or Giants either! kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. samm
Yeah, he calls the game Torment Planescape... Anyway: He didn't score all of Giants. In fact, I'm not sure whether any of his tracks appear in game, they certainly are on the Soundtrack CD. Most of it is a very mediocre showing of Soule, iirc. Dark_Raven
Mark's music in Fallout was just awesome. He should do more game soundtracks. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Llyranor
Was this just a distasteful April's Fools joke? Is he really still alive? Really? (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Predalien Sir!
I hope he is still alive Falluot was a great PC game. It would be cool if all the writers and animaters got back together and added multi player one day! I AM A PREDALIEN ROAR!!
Morgoth
I always thought Giants was scored by Jeremy Soule. But whatever. Morgan is still a god among composers. Rain makes everything better.
Moatilliatta
They both worked on it, Mark couldn't concentrate due to personal reasons and it was given over to Jeremy Soul at some point.

samm
A sign of life again - the interview I was waiting for has arrived! Thanks, Mr. GSoundtracks! It's turned out not very large, still worth reading though for us Planescape: Torment fans. Also answers the question pretty simply why he didn't finish the Giants-score - I was a bit worried at the time reading on the CD that he departed from the project "for personal reasons" and never hearing a word from him until when I started this thread. Morgan's site (http://www.markmorganmusic.com/) now contains MP3s. It's good to hear some of different origins (I only ever listened to PS:T, FO and Giants separately), so that something "typically Morgan" can be heard out Edited October 25, 2008 by samm Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority

H
Of course it didn't, don't listen to nostalgistic fools who claim otherwise. Fallout had ASCII graphics and PC speaker sound effects.
