March 3, 200817 yr I realize, that for some reason, that some people like the camralien better than giger's. I have no idea why. All 3 changes he made weren't the best. Anyway, I didn't make this post to gripe. This is an RPG (a moderately paced-elegant genre) Which means it wouldn't be out of the question to have xenomorphs reflect that. I think it would be best to leave the skulls/ clear skinned head on the morph. It just adds to the subtle horror of the alien. I also think it would be best to, I don't know, make them look tougher? In the origional/ (pains me to say it) 4'th alien, it looked like it could take a bullet and continue to attack. It didn't look lanky, stringy, or fragile, as in alien 2,3, vs predator(s). I guess I just want to see that old design recreated again. It's (in my opinion) the best looking, and the majority seems to agree, but I guess the actual media creators won't have it. I mean, he made a great design, and it essencially went to waste because of this. I'll add to this later, I have to go.
March 3, 200817 yr I would be deliriously happy if Giger turned out to be the concept artist. I just don't really think that is going to happen though... “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein
March 3, 200817 yr I think Giger's the kind of guy who would jump at the chance to work on a video game. But he's probably busy and by now he's also very old, and in a foreign country. Join me, and we shall make Production Beards a reality!
March 3, 200817 yr As long as the Alien design is consistent, I will be quite content. Giger's work is very difficult to replicate, especially so if artists wants to make anything Ginger inspired material that is new and yet alien. I always thought he is one of the only kind Artist in the world in managing to create disturbing and yet alluring images. DarkSeed adventure game for instance, is the first adventure game I played when I was a kid, and only kind of game that still give me nightmares with the images it gives.
March 8, 200817 yr I thought he was dead. "It wasn't lies. It was just... bull****"." -Elwood Blues tarna's dead; processing... complete. Disappointed by Universe. RIP Hades/Sand/etc. Here's hoping your next alt has a harp.
March 8, 200817 yr I know it probably wouldn't happen, but I wouldn't mind seeing a whole new alien design. One of the things that interested me in one of the later movies was the idea that the alien appearance was partially based on its host. Something new that reflected that would be cool. Still gaming with my 9900k/2080ti/32 ram. One day I suppose a game may inspire me to finally upgrade. Maybe.

Aw, you don't like the idea of a massive walking **** that will aggressively try to impregnate anything that moves?
March 13, 200817 yr Yes. Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!http://theatomicdanger.iforumer.com/index....theatomicdangerOne billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

March 16, 200817 yr That said, I wish I could outfit the Aliens characters like that. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. March 16, 200817 yr That said, I wish I could outfit the Aliens characters like that. Amen. I will squeel like a sissy, if Obsidian ever include such armor in the game as a form of Easter egg. Otherwise, I hope the game is moddable enough for the PC gamers to build custom models for the game, considering the armor certainly looks more Sci-fi compatible than an alternate historic setting.

You are not alone, I,d go even further and say that cameron,s design should be removed in favour of Giger,s one, cause there may be tastes and such, but Giger,s design and colours is far far far superior than cameron,s design; and if we go further to see which of the two alien behaviours were better..., then the warrior is definitely the worst option. We will survive Galm 1.
October 9, 200817 yr Author Yeah.... Why do the media creators (for lack of better word) insist on not using it? I don't get it at all... Edited October 9, 200817 yr by xalener
