A new AVP?! gosh Alien franchise must be releasing a film in 2010 for sure, 3 alien games in that short of time does not make sense for me.

 

Also there was a leaked list from gamestop of the releases for 2009 and Aliens Colonial Marines is shechuled for 06/01/09 59,99$.

If the E3 is announced for June 2-4 It also make no sense, Isn't E3 only for upcoming games? Alien's Rpg should be there

Honestly if they're pushing AP back to late '09 then it doesn't really make sense to expect that Aliens RPG will follow in short notice. Back when MotB / SoZ wrapped it seemed like most of the personnel on those projects were reassigned to AP or Aliens, and I'm sure when AP is finished a great number of Obsidianites will start working on Aliens. I always expected at least a mid-'10 shipping.

My understanding is that Aliens if for quite some time now in full production, and that Obsidian is already wrapping up a NEW RPG.

 

And I'm still not believing that AP was pushed back to end 09. This would so much suck.

Wow, talk about a botched operation. In 2006 Sega came out and announced how they were going back to the Alien roots and blah blah blah. I wonder who the real screw ups really are. Now they tell us that AVP 3 is in the make and that it will come out before ACM and Obsidian's supposedly Aliens RPG. Is anyone actually buying this? No wonder Sega has been a failed company for a decade now. I seriously doubt we will be seeing any Aliens game now, Gearbox is just incompetent, I dont know about Obsidian, all they've shown us is someone's art about a planet, go figure.

Maybe if you had spent less time writing garbage on the forums and actually spent more time fixing the game things would have been different.

It was found as part of the dev's resume. Unfortunately it had been taken down quite some time ago after Funroc found those assets and posted them here.
