Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 (edited) Animatrix had two enjoyable segments - the ghost house part and the absolutely superb animation about the runner, but otherwise I didn't find it very compelling. theslug Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Avatar was good overall however the last episode sucked. It was just way too dbzish and for me had a weird vibe that I didn't like. Plus a deus ex machina! Inappropriate use of an already crappy plot device. It would be awesome if they made a new avatar series in a different time period but much more mature but that isn't going to happen. There was a time when I questioned the ability for the schizoid to ever experience genuine happiness, at the very least for a prolonged segment of time. I am no closer to finding the answer, however, it has become apparent that contentment is certainly a realizable goal. I find these results to be adequate, if not pleasing. Unfortunately, connection is another subject entirely. When one has sufficiently examined the mind and their emotional constructs, connection can be easily imitated.
