I suspect that it is a Turkish Angora. Apparantly, having odd-colored eyes is not unusual for that breed.

Edit 2: And while looking that up, I found the name of a condition I have! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anicosoria

Interesting. Im curious, is your eyesight worse in the eye with the larger pupil?

I'm not sure. I know one eye is slightly worse than the other, but not sure which is which. However, I do have incredible nightvision!

Edit: Just did a quick self-test. The smaller pupil is significantly worse than the larger one.

This is completely off topic, but a friend of mine had a catlike pupil. Does anyone know what condition this is?

Har har. Very funny.

I think she was blind in the eye that suffered from the condition.

I wasn't joking. I don't think slit pupils can occur in humans. Unless there's some SERIOUS damage to the eye. And I'm talking a knife. But I do know of fashionable contact lenses that produce the effect.

Though I could be wrong. I've tried googling and wikis to find out if such a thing does actually exist. Slit pupils, in animals, are due to the way the contracting muscles are orientated.

Me too, but I've haven't managed to come up with anything.

Anyway, that pupil never moved. I think it was her right pupil.

Anyone know why my cat refuses to come in the open garage door, but has no qualm against entering through the front door?

Maybe it's the size of the opening. Cats are a little funny about some things. They are fearless at things they should be afraid of and intimidated by the most innocuous things.

One of my dogs still has not figured out the front door and back door lead to the same house. He will only go in the door he went out of even if both are open.

she was pretty crazy. lazy as hell for the most part, but if she found a plastic coke bottle or something lying around she'd go mental and attack it for like a good hour or so

This is Kitten, we didn't name her until like 3 months after she was born, so her name never stuck.

Copy, named because her markings were pretty symmetrical. Kitten is sleeping in the background too.

Cat Eye Syndrome Apparently the cat-like pupils are just one of many results of the disorder.

My parents dog, Laozi, is just about eight months old now. She's getting a little bit smarter, but she's still kind of a spaz.
