Jonesy was as much a star of Alien as any cast member! I DEMAND cats!

 

If there was a cat in the game and you had a dialogue option to say "You're not Jonesy" you could actually have a game referencing Stephen King's novel DREAMCATCHER (which had a bit of a wink and nod to ALIEN) and a direct reference to the original Alien film at the same time...I think that's like a triple word score or something.

Cat: "..."

Me: "Anything happening?"

Cat: "..."

Me: "My, are you in a talkative mood today"

Me: "Oh no, you just *had* to tear apart my last pair of socks without holes in them!"

Me: "We have to leave now, come on"

Cat: "..."

Me: "Oy! get up you lazy cat, we have to leave"

Hello again i just think thaf if a cat is to be included also int he game why not include Predaliens. They ARE totally sweat very much like the zombie sin HALF-LIFE 1 except a bit faster and way more cool. it is my favourite animal. Oh it reminds me of Alien Vrs Predater 2 I want too play that game again

 

oh cool i can edit my posts. I just wnated to add that i really really enjoyed playing AVP2 with my brother and shooting him in the guts with the wasp gun that shoots heat-seaking missiles. i really hope Aliens Obsidian has multiaplayer.

None of the ones which are generally poorly regarded have included a cat.

 

Alien and Aliens had Jonesy.

 

Alien3 and Resurrection (and the AVP films if you really wanna go there) did not. Well maybe the second one did I wasn't really paying that much attention for feline presence in the film.

 

I submit to you that if it's Alien-related but does not have a cat, it is DOOMED!

I can't remember the game, but I remember one otherwise listless FPS where one of your weapons was a squeaky toy and you had to find a cat. It was a fantastic segment.

You could also use the squeaky toy in multiplayer to hit people and make em cry. Ultimate humiliation.

Alien - yes, but it also had an alien/dog hybrid, if I remember correctly (or was it an alien/cow?)

Aliens - not so much - just like a cameo in the begining.

 

I love animals, but I seriously can't handle a situation where it's a human's life being put on the line to save some stupid cat that's too busy licking its own butt to sense incoming danger. I guess I wouldn't mind having a kitty that just chills wherever it is that I sleep, but no cat-missions, please.

Yes, it was alien 3; originally supposed to be an alien-dog but changed to an alien-cow, IIRC.

 

That was one mess of a movie...but as far as alien(s) films go, totally part of the back story (if the game is set later than it, I guess).
