I think it would be both hilarious and gross to emphasise the alienness of the xenos by having the players find one snacking on cat litter for the nutrients.

I can't remember the game, but I remember one otherwise listless FPS where one of your weapons was a squeaky toy and you had to find a cat. It was a fantastic segment.

This reminds of one time when I was playing AvP FPS. I was marine and heard those facehuggers skittering around in a pitch black room I had to enter. Those things were insta death so it was scary. Suddenly my cat jumps on my shoulders from a top of a shelf. That really made me jump.

Hmm I seems to remember babies burning just fine in the Danish version..

Europe rules. I believe they had unkillable kids in Fallout also.

Worse, THEY REMOVED THEM. IIRC that "removing" was only turning them invisible. So you could accidentally kill children.

Europe is not a single entity. Sweden has no such rules. But we're often affected by other countries stupid rules because game developers treat the entire EU as one region.
