This thread is reserved for the Fallout 3 teaser...

Well, I wasn't impressed by the teaser and its lack of any actual gameplay.

Just designed to try and say, "Hey! Look we are making cutscenes that use 50s music and have the same tone and feel of previous Fallouts! We wont mess F3 up honest!"

Either way I'm not going to get excited about some cgi cutscene, especially not one that actually looks worse (in style) than the original games' openning cutscenes.

It's not a CGI cutscene, it was made with the game's engine.

Even if thats the case, from what I've read there were a few tricks pulled and its not a real representation of what the game will look like, but what it 'could' look like.

That and it is boring as hell. Yeah, it is a teaser, but the first two Fallouts, and Tactics, had better teasers.

It was done using game assets, but it was not rendered using game engine.

All this arguing over whether the Fallout 3 intro is worse than 1 and 2 seems like arguing over whether a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich is better with grape or strawberry jelly. It's still PB&J, just eat the sandwich and shut up.

I hate peanut butter and jelly. -.-

Oddly enough, that DOES cheer me up every time I see it! It's so hypnotic.

I don't understand the fascination with it. Is it a cultural phenomenon? For me personally it is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

I suggest we should look at the list of recently registered members then.

You think we find a 'Judge Sand' or a 'Sandes'?

Have you tried it with added crisps (potato chips)?

Oh god, it was that?

Seriously, I hate it. It's like having a vivid image of manboobs stuck in your head.

Which begs the question ... how often do you have vivid images of manboobs stuck in your head?

The sole crisps I enjoy are Doritos Nacho Cheesier. The idea of adding even fake cheese to PBJ offends me on a moral level.

Maybe you'd like original (lightly salted) or salt & vinegar flavoured crisps AND peanut butter & jelly, when all layered on a sandwich. :sorcerer:
