Musopticon? Posted June 2, 2007 Posted June 2, 2007 I haven't watched any of the animes, just played around with a model my friend has(Sword Impulse or something), so I really don't have any expetations. Heck, even the Transformers movie license game looks great. Colour me...reasonably reserved. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
Calax Posted June 3, 2007 Author Posted June 3, 2007 this is the one that came out in the seventies and started the whole franchise off.. and now it's being turned into a warriors game...Hmmmmmm. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

Tale Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 I am blissfully ignorant of these ... Gundam things. And I am pleased about that. You are pleased by your ignorance? Tis a shame, meta. A right shame. Gundam has a wide spectrum of series. At least in regards to taste in mecha. Believable (08th MS team) to retardedly wacky (Gundam Seed where there's a Gundam that fires like 6 different colored beam cannons at the same time). "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Llyranor Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 The game came out in Japan already. As expected, it didn't really sell too well, being a PS3 title in Japan. It's apparently not a bad game, just a Dynasty Warriors game with a Gundam shell. There's also a 360 version coming. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Tale Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 (edited) Never was a big fan of Dynasty Warriors. I bought 2 at the PS2 release. Shallowest game I've ever touched. And I've touched pong! Edited June 3, 2007 by Tale "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."

(I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive.) WILL THE ALMIGHTY Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Meh, the only gundam series I watched was Seed, and some parts were great, others were stupid, and the rest was almost porno. This actually sounds decent. I like playiong Dynasty Warriors. There's just something fun about taking on a 100,000 man army with one guy. "Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"
Arkan Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 "Just plain fun"I love Gundam and this games fun. But its not up to PS3 standards and i wont give it a good score just cuz i love Gundam His score: 8.2 (Great) Hmm... "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta

Zoma Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Gundam Seed is the sucks. Watch Gundam:0080 War in the Pocket instead or the 8th MS team.

Calax Posted June 4, 2007 Author Posted June 4, 2007 Never was a big fan of Dynasty Warriors. I bought 2 at the PS2 release. Shallowest game I've ever touched. And I've touched pong! It's shallow until you try to get everything... then it becomes scary in what they want you to do. Also 2 was the first outing as the hack and slash it is, DW1 was six characters beating the crap out of eachother like virtua fighter on the ps1. DW3 is considered by many to be the best in terms of difficulty and fun level. DW5 has the most stuff and it also has the biggest maps. It should be noted that the engine powering Dynasty Warriors hasn't changed since dw2... it's just been played with to get more beauty. They should be putting together a new engine for #6 Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Tale Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 (edited) The thing is, I don't like hack and slash. Only time I can ever stand hack and slash is in the action adventure. At least those hack and slash have a story and puzzles. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate hack and slash like Pop hates Gundam or Meta loves Deus Ex. Edited June 5, 2007 by Tale "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Xard Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 RotK was fun with pad  Gundam? In my Computer and Console? Gah! Well, that's a bit egarrated but really: MEH How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
