Zoma Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 To quote Avellone from one of the recent interview here: http://forums.multiplayer.it/showthread.php?t=295546 C.AvelloneIt's really too soon to say. We're pretty busy with the three projects we have now, but it's possible, we'll have to see what the future holds I know one of the project is a NWN2 expansion, the other is Aliens but what's the third one? I'm not aware of it. Last I heard project New Jersey was dropped wasn't it? Someone out here please enlighten me?
Tigranes Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 A console action-RPG? or was that Aliens? Let's Play: Icewind Dale Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Icewind Dale II Ironman (Complete) Let's Play: Divinity II (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG1 (Complete) Let's Play: Baldur's Gate Trilogy Ironman - BG2 (In Progress)
ramza Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Are you sure they are making a nwn2 expansion? If that is true, it's good news indeed. I hope they will add epic levels in it... Zoma Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 (edited) Are you sure they are making a nwn2 expansion? If that is true, it's good news indeed. I hope they will add epic levels in it... Ayup, the link I've made in the first post had Chris mentioning of the NWN2 expansion going to be announced officially very soon. And I think Project New Jersey was the supposedly Console action RPG? SteveThaiBinh Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I believe they're still working actively on patching/improving NWN2. Perhaps that counts as a seperate project? "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
astr0creep Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I just have to, sorry: KotOR 3? http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Diamond Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I believe they're still working actively on patching/improving NWN2. Perhaps that counts as a seperate project? I doubt a handful of people in "NWN2 Live Team" counts as a project. If it is indeed expansion, that's great news!
karka Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Obsidian is developing two games both with SEGA. Sorry, no KOTOR 3
Xard Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 (edited) I just have to, sorry: KotOR 3? Now you're teasing me... As I see it: Alien Other Sega project NWN2 expansion pack edit: 11)Which was the critic that disappointed you the most, during your career,by the community? And which the one you liked the most? C.Avellone There's two "fans" (and I don't know if it's fair to call them that, but I hope they're fans) called Gromnir and Sammael, who I like a great deal. I always feel they always "got it" and their objections or critiques were pretty smart. Heh Edited March 12, 2007 by Xard How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)

Volourn Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Developers hate me with a passion. Espicially Obsidian. Anyways, it's pretty much guaranteed one of the projects is a NWN2 expansion. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Zoma Posted March 12, 2007 Author Posted March 12, 2007 Anyways, it's pretty much guaranteed one of the projects is a NWN2 expansion. Uh huh, but based on some posts in the general NWN2 forum, I think this news is very much needed to reassure their paranoia and cynism. Also Volourn, I don't think you are hated by the Dev though it helps if you can more than once in a while write a friendly post. This forum isn't RPG codex afterall.
Volourn Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Weird. I'm pretty polite here even if 'argumentative'... DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Sand Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I am just argumentative for the sake of being argumentative. GRENADES ARE NOT MELEE WEAPONS!!!! AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH! taks Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 sand = anti-volourn. without one or the other, they'd both probably be the nicest guys on the forum. i've personally watched as these guys have taken opposite positions regarding some game topic, even though one or the other was doing so just because the other chose his position first! hehe... (certainly an exaggeration, but not far from the truth!) taks comrade taks... just because.
Volourn Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 Hey, there's many things we agree on. However,a dmittedly, it's no fun to repeatedly say you agree with some one. Afterall, a convo like this: I like x. So do I. Me too. Yeah, seconded. Agreed. Yup. isn't actually worthy of participating in right? That's why 90% of convos on the net usually consist of two or more parties debating/discussing/arguing different opinions on various subjects. P.S. and On Topic: NWN2 will have an expansion. This wa sknown as soon as NWN2 was announced. R00fles! DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.

Calax Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 watch, in one of their games theres going to be a small war going on between two groups, the Volos' and hades desiples. It'll be decided by the player in a sidequest. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
