Landiskan Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 /shiver, i can't wait to see what horrors await!
Sturm Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 The 2009 one looks alright. Sigh, another 2 years.
SteveThaiBinh Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 It all depends on how actively involved Mr. Lucas is in the TV series. If he attempts to direct or, God forbid, to write dialogue, I won't be watching. If they get a professional director and team of writers, it could be very good. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)
Wolfmann Posted February 26, 2007 Posted February 26, 2007 I never seen a star wars TV series that I really liked, or wasn't for kids. Be nice if they could do a good job for it, and actually watch a star war TV series during prime time on a Friday or Saturday night.
Xard Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 I am worried to see Boba Fett in that live show spot... How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. I dare you to show your builds and I will tear you apart in an arugment about how these builds will won them. - OverPowered Godzilla (OPG)
Tale Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 (edited) I am worried to see Boba Fett in that live show spot... Who else would you rather see for a series set between the new and old trilogy? He's the second highest selling character after Darth Vader himself. And he's not a Jedi! Edited February 27, 2007 by Tale "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Xard Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 But I don't want follow adventures of some lame bounty hunter  How can it be a no ob build. It has PROVEN effective. Tale Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 But I don't want follow adventures of some lame bounty hunter  You want to follow the adventures of some gay Jedi? But, we've done that. 15 billion times "Show me a man who "plays fair" and I'll show you a very talented cheater."
Guest Accept Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 I'd prefer to follow som kind of smuggler, instead of a Jedi or any other random-hero-type.
DAWUSS Posted February 28, 2007 Posted February 28, 2007 Let's follow the life of a Naboo cantina dancer DAWUSS Dawes ain't too bright. Hitting rock bottom is when you leave 2 tickets on the dash of your car, leave it unlocked hoping someone will steal them & when you come back, there are 4 tickets on your dashboard.
Guest The Architect Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Let's follow the life of a Naboo cantina dancer I'm all for that.
Sand Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I rather not have a Star Wars TV show. I rather not have another Star Trek or Indiana Jones movie. Lets have something fresh and new, instead of the same drivel over and over again. MarshalHowes Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 A part of me agress with sand. I am afraid as a Star Wars/Strek Trek fan they'lljust mess it all up. (edited for language by SteveThaiBinh) A freind and i had a good long discussion about a Star Wars TV show and we came to the conclusion it would have to be something like the old Droids cartoon. it would probably be easisest for plotline etc to have a show based on smugglers or a group of indivuduals rather tan the WHOLE galaxy or big scenes. of course what timeline is the show? I mean theyd have to do the show in sucha fasion that ANYWAy could watch it and if u the Expanded universe books Count in star wars timeline uh oh what do you do?!!! I agree about the jedi line havent we DONE thAT?!! I mean i could see it being very cliche and overdone..we follow smuggler x..who has to make the decision between Empire and Rebel and the imperial villains are sidecharacters that are never truly develoed. like..a star wars Farscape....
DAWUSS Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 I seriously think the Naboo cantina dancer would be the a good direction to go in terms of originality in Star Wars, especially with a maturing Star Wars audience. Just as long as it doesn't become a Star Wars softcore porn flick... DAWUSS Dawes ain't too bright. Azure79 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 The whole cast should be comprised of Wookies and Ewoks. *Hides*

Star wars Farscape? I might watch a few minutes of that, if it were to be created. Chances are they would make a mess of it though... Pain is all mankind is sure to experience. Somewhere this is a person, who has suffered a thousand planets' pain. Who has suffered pain that would kill a mortal, and still keeps fighting on. The one who reduces our suffering by taking the brunt of it. He is our true saviour. He is the son of thunder and consolation.
