A friend of mine is talking with this executive for Corus Corp that we both know. He's trying to change the format of current rock radio station The Fox into an Alternative for Adults thing. Just good rock music that's easy on the ears and mind. Steely Dan, Jayhawks, REM, Mark Lanegan, Pixies, Twilight Singers, Afghan Whigs, etc. Maybe things will turn out well...maybe it's a stupid idea. Sure would be cool.

I'd listen to it... but then again the idea you propose is right up my alley. A quick Googling and I can state with authority that their playlist is already better than most American rock stations.

 

Was/is Big Wreck Canadian? I remember they had one hit in the states and it seems odd that they'd show up multiple times on the playlist.
