However, limited mind cannot understand limitless mind, living brain cannot understand dead brain (even though it may think so) etc.

 

That falls into same category. Limited human mind can't understand that because it is - as already said - limited

Considering that God made man in his own image, doesn't it mean that man is God.

Or is it Men(and women) are God but no single Man can be God except for Jebus?

Man is just as much God as painting or photo of man is living human

Actually, it would be possible if man achieved certain technological advances. What is more godlike than create life. Something we can already do.

Creating life is not omnipotence.

We haven't been able to create life out of inert matter, yet. We can alter already living matter (and arguably living matter, like prions) but we can't create life from scratch.

How about making babies? Does that equal creation?

Not really. One can't really say that sperm and ova are dead, inert matter. I'm talking about taking something not alive and making it alive.

Isn't it arguable that, since everything on the planet is born, originally, from the same puddle of goo, everything contains the same basic foundation and, therefore, omnipotence exists in us all?

I don't think you're making any sense.

Think on this. The Internet, for better or worse, has the sum of human knowledge. Know lets say that we develop the technology that allows us to integrate the whole of human knowledge in a single human brain. Sure, its not omnipotence but it would be damn close to it.

 

Also who says that God is omnipotent? If you have been around 14 Billion years or so, you would have a great deal of knowledge so it just seems you would be omnipotent, especially compared to a species that has only been around for a 100,000 years or so.
