Rosbjerg Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 You're not necessarily stupid as a character .. this particular henchmen might be the only one who knows the secret word that opens this door/'what have you' - so of course you bring him along - no matter how much you hate his type .. you should however be able to kill or dump him afterwards! that would be realistic ... and yeah, that option was sorely missed in KOTOR at times... Fortune favors the bald.
Volourn Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 "They should have had killable npcs" Eh? They did. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Rosbjerg Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I believe they were referring to KOTOR .. Fortune favors the bald.
Judge Hades Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Only time you can kill off NPCs is after you reach the final planet, except for onew which you can kill on Dantooine. However no matter what they did not let you kill the one that I wanted to kill the most. Carth Onasi. Man, I wanted to kill him.
Dark_Raven Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 "They should have had killable npcs" Eh? They did. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not in Kotor. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Judge Hades Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 At least not the one's you really really really really want to kill. Like Carth.
Dark_Raven Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Carth would be the first to kill after landing on Taris. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Shryke Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 if you're female you can kill Carth if i remember correctly.... you have to be evil, but still have the romance thingy going, and there'll be a little scene after you beat malak on the star forge when your mind works against you - fight back with substance abuse!
Pidesco Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 Carth would be the first to kill after landing on Taris. I'd go for Bastila first. "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian touristI am Dan Quayle of the Romans.I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands.Heja Sverige!!Everyone should cuffawkle more. The wrench is your friend.
Dark_Raven Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 Carth would be the first to kill after landing on Taris. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd go for Bastila first. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Darque Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I wouldn't be bothered to kill Carth. That's what I'd have HK-47 and Bastila for.
Judge Hades Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 if you're female you can kill Carth if i remember correctly.... you have to be evil, but still have the romance thingy going, and there'll be a little scene after you beat malak on the star forge <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only through a mod.
Judge Hades Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I just hope there aren't any NPCs that they force on us that are obvious threats to our PCs, like G0T0 was. I don't care if I was playing light side or dark side I wanted to kill that droid or at least kick him off my ship. Or if he wouldn't leave my ship an option to ditch it and comandere a different one. G0T0 tried to kill and capture my character. There is no freaking way I would want that anywhere near me. Same goes with Visas. No sane person or character would.
Dark_Raven Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 I wouldn't be bothered to kill Carth. That's what I'd have HK-47 and Bastila for. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So true. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Judge Hades Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I so wanted to kill G0T0. He served no purpose but to antagonize and aren't you suppose to kill the antagonists.
Shryke Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 if you're female you can kill Carth if i remember correctly.... you have to be evil, but still have the romance thingy going, and there'll be a little scene after you beat malak on the star forge <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only through a mod. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> nope, i never had any mods installed, just plain vanilla KOTOR, and i still did it when your mind works against you - fight back with substance abuse!
Dark_Raven Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 I heard about that also, some thing that happens. No mods. Now that I remember, I did kill him once at the end. Opps so sorry Carthy. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Shryke Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 yeah depending on what you say to him, it's either you or bastila that kills him when your mind works against you - fight back with substance abuse!
Dark_Raven Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 Good times my friend, good times. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Darque Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 I wouldn't be bothered to kill Carth. That's what I'd have HK-47 and Bastila for. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So true. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Real Sith let their underlings kill the weaklings.
Dark_Raven Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 Of course. Why get your hands dirty when you have others who can do it for you? Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Judge Hades Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Because it is fun to play with entrails?
Dark_Raven Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 Only if it's personal. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Darque Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Of course. Why get your hands dirty when you have others who can do it for you? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Only if they're worthy of dying by your hand, or your trying to prove a point. Carth, would be neither.
