Judge Hades
"I rather have no companions than have one forced on me." Let's not go extreme, please. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I would. J.E. Sawyer
What is up with that, J.E.? I know you weren't the head guy throughout the project but couldn't you change one or two things like no NPC death or allowing the player to ditch one or two of them that he or she didn't like? Changing the integration of NPCs into almost every stage of the story after a year and a half of development? No. twitter tyme

J.E. Sawyer
You could try, couldn't you? Please? :'( Maybe with a patch? You might as well remove every fifth metal beam used in a skyscraper. The entire story structure depends on the presence of particular CNPCs at various points. I suppose you could spend six months removing them and re-writing the story, but you'd probably be better off writing a new story that simply didn't depend on the presence of any character other than the PC. twitter tyme
Judge Hades
Well, in the expansion we better see some goodness ilike that n there. I'm sure there are some NWN2 OC npcs that are also good, fun, and interesting. I surely waouldn't want to miss out on those because of a pet peeve of mine. Get over your hang up! Judge Hades
Its not a game breaker, Volourn, but it just get a tad annoying. Well, whatever project you are on J.E., I hope its a PC game (original or port) because overall I love your designs in games, except for the whole grenade using the melee skill business in van buren. That just seemed way to wrong to me.

Judge Hades
I think that is Chris A. Okay, now I have a very very distirbing scene playing in my head. GET OUT! GET OUT! GET OUT! Ah... much better.
Dark_Raven
A gnome bard? LOLZ How I hate 3rd edition and its removal of race/class restrictions. I see the people who think of names for characters didn't put too much thought into it. Sand? WTF?? That's not an elven name. But it sure is a cool nick name. Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.
Judge Hades
Bard is the gnome's favored class in 3.5. In fact it fits them better than any other class there is in the game.

Judge Hades
There is more to bards than just singing and epic poetry. They are also the source for a lot of knowledge and lore. Bards are the jack of all trades. Sure they can sing, but they are really a mish mash of fighter, rogue, and wizard, but a master of none of them. If you want a bard just to be about singing you need to use the Monte Cook bard and not the standard bard in the PHB. J.E. Sawyer
A gnome bard? LOLZ How I hate 3rd edition and its removal of race/class restrictions. Is it really incomprehensible that a gnome could be a bard or an elf could be a paladin? I see the people who think of names for characters didn't put too much thought into it. Sand? WTF??
