Dwarf Fortress is awesome. My dwarves keep getting mauled, and then they go insane from post-traumatic stress. I guess it's hard to cope with life after a gorilla twists your legs into a pretzel. (Maybe you shouldn't have tried to wrestle that gorilla to death, huh stumpy?!) Fortunately I've learned how to farm now, so I won't need to send out hunters to die or maimed in the wild.

I'm expecting Hearts of Iron II:Doomsday to fulfill the whole left in my life since Civ 2 lost a place in my heart. It seems to be nicely complex and beautifully detailed and customizable hard-socio-politico-economic-historico-science, rather than the God-opera cartoon that Sid has turned his franchise into.

Zhaalbar was, with the possible exception of T3, my least favorite K1 character.

 

But I only sold him to Czerka because I needed credits!

All characters in KOTOR2 are better than the ones in the first game. They're just better written.
