Darth Osiris Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Errr... Definately an insult. He drives me insane! Pain is all mankind is sure to experience. Somewhere this is a person, who has suffered a thousand planets' pain. Who has suffered pain that would kill a mortal, and still keeps fighting on. The one who reduces our suffering by taking the brunt of it. He is our true saviour. He is the son of thunder and consolation.
Alec Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Atton is the best. Both for LS and DS (Remember he was a Sith Assassin)
Lilandra Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Mira is the best. You can turn her into a Jedi pretty easy compared to the others. Through inner peace leads to enlightenment. Baldur's Gate Modding
Alec Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Actually, I thought she was quite difficult because Nar Shaddaa was my last planet before Korriban. Bao-Dur was the most difficult...
vaxen83 Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 (edited) Bao-Dur is probably easier for LS than DS, provided PCs gain influence with him at least from mid-game onwards. Alec Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 In fact I was only able to turn him when I followed the LS.
Lilandra Posted June 13, 2006 Posted June 13, 2006 I did not see any difference. Influence is influence being that lightside or darkside. Through inner peace leads to enlightenment. Baldur's Gate Modding
KOTORFanactic Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Handmaiden. I prefer using combat/feats rather than force powers, and since Handmaiden becomes a Jedi Guardian, I find her the most useful. Plus, she comes with her own unique Jedi Robes, which saves me the trouble.
FaintlyAlarmed Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Atton. The Jedi killer turned Jedi... It's just cool. And besides, he's cute.
vaxen83 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Despite Disciple being a character that I hardly use, have to say that training him is not exactly hard. It is just that he tends to wear an expression that is reminiscent of having been drugged by sedatives somehow. (Which makes me a bit sleepy sometimes) Deep from within... LadyCrimson Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I think they're all pretty decent and fairly interchangeable in terms of combat if you level them up properly for the purpose you want them to have (melee/ranged/force). But I still have to go with Disciple and Atton, of course. “Things are as they are. Looking out into the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations.” – Alan Watts
Exar Kun Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 (edited) I choose Bao-dur. His patient demeanor would grant him the ability to be a very powerful character. Edited July 3, 2006 by Exar Kun
vaxen83 Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Also, Bao-Dur's Gravitonic Strike feat and skills help for quite a few parts of game. Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy. Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it. 朱宣澧
Jesse Conroy Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Mira for me. "For my ally is the force, and a powerful ally it is"
SteveThaiBinh Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Doesn't Handmaiden convert very late, something like level 18? Atton and Mira usually get jedified at around level 10 for me, so they actually make some progress in their Jedi classes. "An electric puddle is not what I need right now." (Nina Kalenkov)

Jinny Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Bao-Dur and Handmaiden, both Jedi Guardians and for some reason when I play with them, they don't seem to die as often as the others do.

seejai Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 ya disciple just needs like one influence thing. but since i go to dantooine first to get jedi stuff hes always the most advanced "She was short, she was furry, she was loud, and she was determined to sell him a melon"- random passage from Spector of the Past by Timothy Zahn
cretialuv7 Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 handmaiden..just because i liked having her in my party when i played as male exile...there is some cool conversations with her...i like the whole battling thing...and she is a tough NPC...Atton is a close second...love Bao-Dur, just wanted more with him...well with all the NPC's...lol...so out of the ones we got to pick from..handmaiden
seejai Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 yes. i love bao dur. "She was short, she was furry, she was loud, and she was determined to sell him a melon"- random passage from Spector of the Past by Timothy Zahn
chris the jedi killer Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 Mira and Handmaiden look hot as dark jedi A coward dies a thousand deaths but a soulja dies one~ 2Pac
FieryDove Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Disciple...Modded would be Candyman! After traveling so long with jedi's the force had to rub off on him a bit/alot.
Lost Jedi Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Handmaiden and Atton. Handmaiden's character is pretty neat with the Echani beliefs and stuff, and Atton has the coolest backstory. For me it's the character that matters, not their combat effectiveness. It's not as if KotOR II is an impossibly difficult game to beat.
