Darque Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 (edited) Time for a new addition of "What are you playing now" The other thread has gotten a little big so part three takes the stage :D edit: link to part 2 Edited April 23, 2006 by Darque
Volourn Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 NWN (modding slowly), MVP Baseball 2005, and.... Everquest 2.... ( ) DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
Volourn Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Slow... Writing dialogue is a slow process for me. Not to mention the constant proofreading, and adding options. Word count is now sitting at 1k...... Everything else but a handfulof scripts and editting spells (espicially summons are done). Areas are laid out, npcs/monsters are in game, etc., etc. But dialogue... uh.. takes forever.... DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
metadigital Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 ... That's 'cause you need to be an author to write good, believable stuff. ^_^ OBSCVRVM PER OBSCVRIVS ET IGNOTVM PER IGNOTIVS OPVS ARTIFICEM PROBAT

karka Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 PS - Chrono Cross PS2 - Nothing PSP - Nothing XBOX - Ninja Gaiden Black PC - Mount&Blade. Also, i want to play a good point&click adventure on my PC. I need a traditional adventure game.
Jumjalum Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Mostly Oblivion, I'm about to install the Rise of Legends demo since it got a very favourable review in PC Zone. We now bring you live footage from the World Championship Staring Final.
Darque Posted April 23, 2006 Author Posted April 23, 2006 Morrowind. I found my game guide. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> On the gaming front I'm playing Cold Fear again... on hard. It's proving to be quite the challenge.
mkreku Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Rogue Trooper. I'm having surprisingly much fun with this title. I thought it would suck, but it doesn't. Swedes, go to: Spel2, for the latest game reviews in swedish!
Dark Moth Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 I was bored today, so I decided to whip out Soul Calibur 2, which I haven't played in ages. *sob* Why did they have to make SC3 for PS2 only???
Llyranor Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Take Command - 2nd Manassas Hearts of Iron II - Doomsday Red Orchestra - Ostfront '41-'45 (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)

Ellester Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Doom 3 cool graphic, lol Life is like a clam. Years of filtering crap then some bastard cracks you open and scrapes you into its damned mouth, end of story. - Steven Erikson
Darque Posted April 24, 2006 Author Posted April 24, 2006 I just beat Cold Fear on the Hard difficulty setting... it lives up to that setting name
Llyranor Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Just tried out some scenarios of the Airborne Assault: Red Devils Over Arnhem demo. Very cool wargame. Little squares shooting each other, teehee. The subordinate AI is very impressive. I'll be supporting their next game. (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
baby arm Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 I'm surprised Panther's Conquest of the Aegean isn't out yet. It supposedly went into final testing like 4 months ago. You might want to have a look at All American: 82nd Airborne. Should be out somewhat soon.
Llyranor Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 (edited) Well, here's what Panther's latest update (today, actually) says: Well I finally got the ScenMaker out to the beta testers for feedback and am two thirds through the MapMaker Manual. Should finish tomorrow though just before the ANZAC day holiday on Tuesday ( 25th April )...rather fitting I thought. Next is to incorporate the feedback for the Getting Started, Advanced Tutorial and Reference manuals. Hopefully by the end of this coming week we'll be ready for our first "Final Candidate" build. It's getting exciting. I am very much looking forward to signing off on this. Thanks for the tip, I'll check out that game. EDIT: Wait, there's no demo yet. Nor of the previous game, either. Aww. Turn-based squad-level tactical combat. Is it similar to Silent Storm, then (but with wargame-level realism)? Edited April 24, 2006 by Llyranor (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Joseph Bulock Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 God of War, Eternal Darkness, Lego Star Wars (catching up on some titles I missed) Oh, and uh, Neverwinter Nights 2 " My blood! He punched out all my blood! - Meet the Sandvich
Llyranor Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Oh, and uh, Neverwinter Nights 2 " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm, er, playing that too " (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
Darque Posted April 24, 2006 Author Posted April 24, 2006 Eternal Darkness <{POST_SNAPBACK}> FAN-tastic game! I keep hoping for a sequel to come about.
Gromnir Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Oh, and uh, Neverwinter Nights 2 " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you see what we gotta deal with. how can we be expected to pass up a setup like this one? given the 30+ page 20 minutes of nwn thread we gots all kinds of possible responses. "finished during your lunch break?" "sting takes more time to sex up his wife than bullock did to finish nwn." "am hearing that obsidian and dominoes is joining together for a marketing campaign... if you can't finish nwn2 in a half hour you gets the game and a large 1-topping pizza free." "ain't it amusing that llranor and Gromnir spent more time arguing over how long nwn2 might be than it actually took bullock to play the game." etc. HA! Good Fun! "If there be time to expose through discussion the falsehood and fallacies, to avert the evil by the processes of education, the remedy to be applied is more speech, not enforced silence."Justice Louis Brandeis, Concurring, Whitney v. California, 274 U.S. 357 (1927) "Im indifferent to almost any murder as long as it doesn't affect me or mine."--Gfted1 (September 30, 2019)
