alanschu Posted March 6, 2006 Author Posted March 6, 2006 If you're talking about Malkavian bizarreness, then yes...it's used in every line. There's also Dementation which is used quite frequently as well. I remember convincing someone that I was their pet turtle that they flushed down the toilet. They were so ashamed and apologetic :D
CoM_Solaufein Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 The Malk dialogue is unique - every line is laced with madness. Worth replaying. The female Malkavian outfits are worth playing in over-the-shoulder cam. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That they are. Lucius Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 So like, if I was to install this game again, what patches should I download? I remember there being a few official and unofficial, but no idea which I should download. Hilfe! DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
CoM_Solaufein Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Just the official patch. I believe it's 1.02? Never tried tha fan made patches, I heard bad things about them. Atreides Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 The 1.2 official patch works fine. There's still significant memory leakage in town areas (oddly enough, only in town areas) so the usual trick I do is quicksave on the spot then quickload to "solve" it. Spreading beauty with my katana.
Lucius Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 Oki, thanks. DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
WITHTEETH Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 No, just type "flush" in console. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wait wait wait, I can just bring the console down, and typoe flush, and that will clear my momeory up , so it will run smoothly again? Atreides Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Sounds interesting. Might be a problem getting to the console if the whole setup's already staggering. Spreading beauty with my katana.
Bokishi Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 No, just type "flush" in console. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wait wait wait, I can just bring the console down, and typoe flush, and that will clear my momeory up , so it will run smoothly again? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's supposed to. Current 3DMark
Haitoku Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Just the official patch. I believe it's 1.02? Never tried tha fan made patches, I heard bad things about them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The fan made patches would be great if they had stuck to fixing stuff, rather then adding their own changes.
Darque Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Fan made patches aren't really patches, they're mods
CoM_Solaufein Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Well some of them started out to fix problems that the official patches didn't. Than these people get "great" ideas and change things, or add things. astr0creep Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I reinstalled Bloodlines last night. I can't run the game! I can create a character no problem. But then when the first cutscene loads, the progress bar stops halfway and I need to reboot! WTFF? I finished that game when it came out so this makes no sense. I changed my motherboard recently but everything else in my system is the same. Anybody know what could be wrong? http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Gabrielle Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Prior to the reinstall, did you do a complete uninstall? Some times not all of the files are removed.
astr0creep Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Prior to the reinstall, did you do a complete uninstall? Some times not all of the files are removed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, it hasn't been on my system for a year or so. And I did a few formats since then. The only thing I can think of is possibly older drivers and/or DirectX 9.0b instead of 9.0c like I think I have. I didn't format the last time, a friend did so maybe those little things are not up to date... http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/
Gabrielle Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Make sure all video, sound card drivers are up to date and the latest version of Direct X.
Llyranor Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Hmmmm, Bloodlines runs like a dream with 1 gig of RAM I still can't outrun the werewolf, though (Approved by Fio, so feel free to use it)
astr0creep Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 (edited) Hmmmm, Bloodlines runs like a dream with 1 gig of RAM I still can't outrun the werewolf, though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then kill it. You get a truck load of xp for it Oh and I still can't play it. I've updated my drivers and everything and nada. Never had a problem with it before, except for the frequent, super long load times and the usual bugs. I still finished it. Weird. Stupid computers. Gabrielle Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Bloodlines is teh buggy hell. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not really. But it's all good. I enjoy the game regardless of a few glitches.
