January 19, 200620 yr Seeing that we are on the subject of a great author known as J.R.R. Tolkien, I found The Silmarillion a wonderful book to read. It may seem complex at first, but after another reading or two, it is quite enlightening. My favorite part is the story of Beren and L Hades was the life of the party. RIP You'll be missed.

January 26, 200620 yr My favourite Middle Earth book wasn't the Silmarillion - in fact, it's so long since I read it, I had to go to Wikipedia to look up the title. It's Unfinished Tales, and looking through the list of tales, I remember really liking "Aldarion and Erendis" amongst others.
