I think the worst grammar I've seen comes from either the disgruntled droid at Vogga's workshop - 'Needs help to do my job, do I?' - or Anakin in the Clone Wars cartoon volume 2 - 'Jedis aren't supposed to be married!' The simplist answer would be that Vander and Yoda are indeed the same race, but have the equivelent of different accents.
