Danes sound like they speakwith mouth full of smorgasbord.

Which they usually do. To be honest.

Yes. You could replace smorgasbord with hot potatoes, but that's not necessary.

That's exactly the stereotype phrase I was talking about. :)

Oh and please Mus, Finnish gotta be the most outrageous misplaced language in the north if any. :ermm:

It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.

And why would you think such a phrase has been stereotyped, mm?

No, Finnish just originates from the east, while the other Scandinavian languages originate from the west.

Are you suggesting Swedish sounds as stupid as Danish? You are in denial! :)

Meh, Swedish is an awkward language. I know just about two phrases in Swedish: Asking a girl if she wants to dance "Knullfest?" and compliment the beauty of her eyes "Jaevla vilka pattar du har!"... never seems to work :p

I suppose the act of Knullfest isn't unheard of at rock festivals... o:)" Somehow I'm not surprised to hear of your modest success with those lines, Gorth. :D

I'm pretty sure the germanic language group originated in Germany. o:) Proto-Indo-European on the other hand, originated in the Crimea, if I remember correctly.

I think Rosbjerg is right. Indo-European language group orginated from India(well from that very big area) and germanic languages are part of it

Well, someone else agreeing with Rosbjerg made me double check.  At least according to my English Language lecturer, Proto-Indo-European originated in the area around the Crimea (or possibly Anatolia), and spread from there.  Proto-Germanic, however, didn't break off as a distinct language until after the proto-indo-europeans had settled in northern Germany and southern Scandinavia.

Ah, I see.

Goths annoy me.

You want to call yourself a Goth, put some trousers on and sack Rome. Wearing black lipstick and listening to Trent Reznor moan isn't Goth.
