BicycleOfDeath Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Yes, I had my name changed. It's simple, didn't really need to, but, it's an ego thing. I've been called Crazy Joe for over a decade. My highschool internet tech. teacher gave the name to me. Recently, due to a complication with a high up manager and our interaction, other management and employees now call me Angry Kid Joe. I think it's a bit more accurate and less common than Crazy Joe. That's all I willing to say on the matter. Only reason I post this, is because I'm getting posts in threads about it. Stand Your Convictions and You Will Walk Alone.
Skynet Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I like Crazy Joe better. "Who could blame Skynet? He's such a cute, innocent, steel-bolted robot." -Gauntlet
Musopticon? Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Me too. kirottu said: I was raised by polar bears. I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
Darkside Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Crazy Joe sounds better, but it makes no difference to me.

Doesn't matter much to me either way though. I've been thinking about changing my usernamename to Jack Mehoff...what would you guys think about that?
Fionavar Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I would strongly urge you to reconsider such a request ... but then the wonderful thing about life, is the choice remains yours ... The universe is change; your life is what our thoughts make it - Marcus Aurelius (161)
Child of Flame Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I would strongly urge you to reconsider such a request ... but then the wonderful thing about life, is the choice remains yours ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sorry Fiona, it was just a joke, brought on from memories of the last Obsidian Vamprpg Log. I am rather partial to Child of Flame though, would that be more appropriate?
Judge Hades Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Angry Kid Joe reminds me of that old metal band Ugly Kid Joe who performed the great masterpiece "I Hate Everything About You."
GhostofAnakin Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I remember Ugly Kid Joe for his remake of "Cats in the Cradle". "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Judge Hades Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 It was an okay remake but I prefer the original more, but Queenscryche had a decent version.

Everybody is changing everything: avatars, sigs, even names. Are we all getting tired of ourselves?

I've been thinking about changing my usernamename to Jack Mehoff...what would you guys think about that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It was Ugly Kid Joe, not Angry Kid Joe. What also contributed to it was the fact that all of a sudden my MSN accounts for my XBOX and all that were deleted. I used them, but then they were just gone. I contacted Microsoft about it and they didn't know what happened and access to "crazyjoe" accounts were locked for some reason. They couldn't delete them, reopen them. The accounts were completely empty. They checked it for hacks and what not, but there was nothing. Stand Your Convictions and You Will Walk Alone.
EnderAndrew Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I had an enderandrew@hotmail.com account for like 4 years that magically got deleted, along with my .net passport as well. Microsoft said they didn't know why. The same thing happened to my friend. I lost a bunch of emails I was saving, but Gmail makes life better anyway. Angry doesn't sound like an appropriate moniker for a mod, but it is your call. Oddly enough, I tried registering as Enderandrew unsuccessfully and emailed GM a bunch of times trying to get that account validated, but no luck. Then I registered EnderWiggin and asked GM a couple times to rename it Enderandrew with no luck, so I figured that it was just policy not to rename accounts. Oh well.
Cantousent Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I wonder if there is some reason for that. Fionavar's looking over this thread. Maybe he can contact Admin for you. Fio's got the golden touch. Either that or compromising pictures. At any rate, he gets things done. vaxen83 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Difficult to not agree with that this time. Deep from within... Victims live a life of fantasy. Some see salvation as an act of God, a few look within for it. 朱宣澧
BicycleOfDeath Posted September 15, 2005 Author Posted September 15, 2005 Hmm,how about simply Joe? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like to limit myself by putting descriptions infront of it. I am simply less than your average Joe. JoeBlow <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I may be less than, but I'm not desperate for cash. Stand Your Convictions and You Will Walk Alone.
Laozi Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 How about Joey Whiteshoes People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.
