Gorth Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 *Groan*... I mean, the first one was kind of fun. Well, for the most part, the first one was kind of fun And the Hollywood white collars have trouble comprehending why people are increasingly ignoring their releases :-" “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would surely suffice.” - Albert Einstein

julianw Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 They must be making money. I guess there're still people who would spend money on these films.
Oerwinde Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 So this crap gets made, and Watchmen gets shelved... I hate hollywood. The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity.
Judge Hades Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I think they should have a movie called "Freddie versus Jason versus the Police Academy." That will be a sure winner. REALLY!
Lucius Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.

I had to fight against blood thirsty wolves and rabid penguins to get my food. Those who were too weak to survive were sent to Sweden. It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai. So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds
EnderAndrew Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I actually enjoyed Police Academy 1-5. 6 and 7 were truly horrible. I don't know that this movie will really get made however, Hollywood is quick to pump out sequels to truly horrible movies (MVP and Air Bud come to mind) while refusing to make good movies. I am firmly convinced that people in Hollywood have little to no clue what they are doing besides the Weinsteins. WB brought Kevin Smith in to do a sequel called Beetle Juices goes Hawaian. Thank goodness he passed.
julonia17 Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 How many of these are there now? Edit: I just read all the title :"> *feels incredibly stupid*
Petay Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 How many of these are there now? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 8? I'm assuming you meant Police Academy's there
julonia17 Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 Oh, yes I did. I've seen the first, I believe, it was alright.
Petay Posted September 11, 2005 Posted September 11, 2005 I've seen the first all the way through, and i've seen some of the rest of them, but never watched them all the way through. Enjoyed the first one a lot, a lot of it was just slapstick comedy though. Still good
EnderAndrew Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 It won't top Mission to Moscow. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Truly, what can?
Tel Aviv Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 It won't top Mission to Moscow. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Truly, what can? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It starred Ron Pearlman and Christopher Lee! What were they thinking?! If they had needed money that badly I could have lent them some.
alanschu Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Maybe I was young, but I didn't mind 1-6 all that much. #5 did have a babelicous Janet Jones :D But Mission to Moscow....wow....just wow.
jaguars4ever Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 The black guy who does the "sound effects" is clearly the best. :D
alanschu Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 "Motormouth" Jones. :D I loved him in Spaceballs too!
EnderAndrew Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Steve Gutenberg was truly a star like the world will never see again.
Tel Aviv Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Steve Gutenberg was truly a star like the world will never see again. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He wrote a play recently named "P.S. My Cat is Dead".
EnderAndrew Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 I'm half shocked that he isn't posting here after the night we just had.
