EnderAndrew Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Jesus was a rebel, who was found to be guilty of sedition by the government at the time. He was a hippie who had long hair, talked about freedom, etc. Don't forget that Jesus also hung out with criminals, sinners, prostitutes and tax collectors. I don't think Bush would be down with a guy like Jesus.
Lucius Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Well, I'm sure Pat Robertson is overwhelmed with joy, I saw the other day on the Daily Show that he was Tele-praying to God for another seat. DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.

Dark Moth Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 If Jesus was chief Justice, then our country would probably be better off... "

EnderAndrew Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I tend to agree. Jesus would be like, "why are we judging people in the first place?"
Dark Moth Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 "Let he who be without sin cast the first stone."
Commissar Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 If Jesus was chief Justice, then our country would probably be better off... " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How do you know?
Commissar Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Note the operative word, "probably". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're all about the semantics today.
Dark Moth Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 If Jesus was chief Justice, then our country would be better off... " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How do you know? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Corrected. How do I know? I've read his book, for one thing. And I must say he sounds like a very smart guy.

EnderAndrew Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I'm usually all about semantics. I want people to take me at face value, so I take other people at face value. I expect people to say what they mean, and mean what they say. If I infer another meaning from a person's post other than the one proposed by the actual semantics of their post, am I implying the person is lying, stupid or has poor communication skills?

'Cause often I tend to assume that Poster B isn't taking the discussion as seriously as Poster A, and is likely sitting there chuckling to himself while Poster A gets all worked up. But, that's just me.
EnderAndrew Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Fair enough. Tone is difficult to garner from pure text, but often an emoticon helps establish what tone you are going for. Admittedly, I don't use them enough.
Lucius Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Ezekiel 25:17 - "Sup y'all." Amen. DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
Lucius Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 +10 TOMBS points. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is that good or bad? "TOMBS" sounds kinda morbid. DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
EnderAndrew Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 It is good. TOMBS = The Online Messageboard Simulator. It is Obsidian's flagship product, and you are currently playing it. http://forums.obsidianent.com/index.php?showtopic=36187&st=0
Lucius Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Interesting, however I'm too tired to try and figure out how that stuff works. I'm off to bed, night night. ^_^ DENMARK! It appears that I have not yet found a sig to replace the one about me not being banned... interesting.
Calax Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 We should put the thirteenth apostle into power. Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.
Gabrielle Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Onward christian soldiers, blah blah blah...
Calax Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 I find it funny that everbody assumes that they are getting into heaven when only ONE man was guarenteed a slot. and he was a convicted killer... Victor of the 5 year fan fic competition! Kevin Butler will awesome your face off.

EnderAndrew Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 I'm guessing Calx is talking about Moses?
