I think silver is the best color for both ls and ds. ds, you look creepy and sinister. ls you look noble and good.

One purple one red use them wisely until your enemy is dead.

Black would be cool if it existed. More evil than red. I don't undertsand why no one has modded in a black color crystal.

actually I think there might have been a white lightsaber crystal, this is only a rumor, but in one of the many star wars books, yoda goes searching for it...in the end I think he drops it and it breaks, lol

I use silvers on Handmaiden, Orange or Bronzes on Visas, Purple on Jolee (when in K1), and for me, well, it depends on what mood I'm in during the current playthrough.

I would like it if it was much harder to get the exotic colors (and I would include violet in that category).

 

Blue, Green, Yellow, and Red should make up 95% of what we see/have access to, IMO.

 

I also wouldn't mind seeing them do more with continuity red lightsaber lore.

 

And a black lightsaber (extremely rare, yes) crystal would be nice and consistent with continuity. The main objection to black is "how would you see it in a cave, etc?". The answer is simple: in a dark place, it has a "smokey" appearance and shimmers and pulsates a bit. In daylight, it is solid black.

 

Having the exotic crystals be hard to obtain would also make for some really convenient side quests.
