I love 'em because I saw them live once, during one of the coolest concerts of my life! And like always I'm listning to my alltime favorite Kashmir Fortune favors the bald.
Kor Qel Droma Posted May 4, 2005 Posted May 4, 2005 So far today I've been listening to the first Third Eye Blind album. With a smackle of the Replacements on top... Jaguars4ever is still alive. No word of a lie.

random evil guy Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 Oasis - Don't believe the truth! YEAH! this is their best album since morning glory.
Kor Qel Droma Posted May 7, 2005 Posted May 7, 2005 Oasis' new single isn't that bad, but it kind of sounds a little like the well is starting to tap out for Noel. I haven't heard the whole album yet so I'll reserve judgement. I'm liking 'Beverly Hills' by Weezer a little bit more than I did when I first heard it. And oddly enough I took Laozi's advice and downloaded 'Banquet' by Bloc Party. That is a cool song! It sounds like Franz Ferdinand if they weren't Scottish. And the singer reminds me of someone from the eighties that I can't put my finger on. And I found a link for some concert in Japan that makes me wish I wasn't stuck in the middle of nowhere ( or Alberta, Canada)... http://www.summersonic.com/index.html Jaguars4ever is still alive. Loof Posted May 8, 2005 Posted May 8, 2005 Song of the moment: Levellers - Levelling the land - Another Mans Cause Oh and Tom Waits is overrated, he tryes to hard to be experimental and original (although he is great in coffie and cigarets).

metadigital Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 Soundtrack to "Phantom of the Opera". Now I was very skeptical of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, especially after he inflicted Cats on the English speaking societies (and all those lemmings have gone to see it for twenty years), but as I hadn't seen the stage performance I went into the film with an open mind. I saw it at the cinema when it came out, and I was blown away by the sets, costume, acting, score and production. It has just been released for rental and watched it again ... and I can't get those dang songs outa my head! Not to mention that killer signature chord! Round and round and round my head ...
