I saw Weezer in concert a few years ago and they pulled off a wicked cool version of Happy Together.

Come to think of it; have you ever heard Aphex Twin before, draakhie? You might like it. Mr Bungle might be a bit off, unless you happen to like Patton's stuff. His style is usually either hit or miss.

Got Mr. Bungle. That stuff is pretty good, but it's not something I'll listen to for extended periods of time. I'll have to check out aphex twin then, aren't they techno or something?

Sort of, but that would be threading the line of generalizing.

Right now I have found some recordings of Twang Twang Shock-A-Boom

This is sort of a legendary band around Austin, as they had a huge following, but broke up when David Garza decided stardom and having your name in lights was more important then....well......anything.

Its all acoustic guitar, stand up bass, and bongos for the most part

The members are all very talented musicians, plus chicks dig it, plain and simple.

Fishsticks and Always My Emaciated Heart ;)

The Monkees greatest hits.

Yes, that's right, the Monkees.

I snuck out of work to go pick up the new Weezer album 'make believe'. It's a'ight so far, with the standouts being 'beverly hills' and 'we are all on drugs'. Plus I listened to the Strokes 'hard to explain' at least eight times in a row... :shifty:

Ive listened a bit to Mars Volta now and they have absolutely nothing in common with Aphex Twin. Id recommend similarities like A Perfect Circle(even though theyre like a streamlined pop verison of Tool) or maybe Genesis even, the first song on album with the head on it sounds very much like 70's Genesis.

Scoring - Boa

Boa did the theme tune to Serial Experiments Lain (an awesome anime), and are also the band of Steve Rogers of Bad Company fame's children. They are, incidentally, millions of times better than Bad Company, who suck.

I saw them do that song on T.V.

I must concede the bands of the late 90's and up to today

are doing real good remakes of older songs.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens.
