In the central chamber, there is a door that says "Turbolift" on it, but it is locked. Does anyone know if this was actually supposed to be a place that they removed at the last minute, and if so, what is down there?

probably. there seem to be a few such "missing" areas from the final product. my guess is that it involved possibly being able to go to the place where atris had kept all the artifacts and look around, but due to time constraints, we just went immediately from beating her in a fight to skipping off to face nihilis.

That sounds about right since via converation persuation, it seems like you can convince the 5 Echani Handamaidens to let you see the artifacts. :(

It seems like it, but you can't persuade the Echani sisters. Well actually one of them you can persuade, but the Handmaiden herself refuses to show you anything.

I thought someone farted at first...

The Turbolift door is where you came from. The surface, where your ship crashed. If you remember when you came in, and got dissarmed, that's where you entered.

I don't think that's right. When you are confronted by the Handmaidens, upon entering the facility, they seem to be stood on a a higher platform than your party - yet the turbolift is on that flat central chamber.

You're right. I do believe that the room is where the Jedi relics are supposed to be. Boy I would have loved to see them and here the "confusing" questions they ask.

yet another side effect of a rushed release. thanks a lot lucasarts. <_<

Actually, I was wrong. I checked it out again yesterday and it does indeed seem that you enter through the turbolift into the central chamber. So, mystery solved - the turbolift door leads back to the surface, hence it being locked.

LOL! So did I. So I take back my statement.

:- How did you all not see that the turbolift is where you entered from...?

Lou Gutman, P.I.- It's like I'm not even trying anymore!

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

Doesn't explain the "Private" areas on Dantooine, or the rooms in the Onderon palace whose doors do nothing and you cannot enter. Or the mysterious map section in Nar Shadda near Vogga's that you can't reach.

yeah they did cut some parts out you can sorta tell it was rushed by the glitches taht how from time to time.. i just hope if obsidian makes the 3rd one (if there is going to be a 3rd one) they take their time

Or the fabled sub-basement of the telos base. I'm curious, how far along are those areas before they are cut? Is there something actually back there or is it just out of the game zone?

I know on some games where such areas have been cut, the forbidden area is textured and detailed and everything. Othertimes they've just put up a wall there. Is the fact that its still on the map representitive of it's existence? or is the map just out of date...

thats it......bitch....

(Rehearsed Response) No the game is missing nothing!!!!!!!!!!!! (w00t)

I wish I could do a god mode view and freely roam around the map. If anything was in the areas you can't get to then you could find out what was back there.

Maybe if it is in the PC version some one can try it.
