Zach Morris
I was just wondering when do you guys think we will be able to switch to the prestige classes? I can only think of two different ways. 1) Like in the first Kotor when a certain part in the story happens you change (like going to dantooine to change to jedi) or 2) Switching once you reach a certain level. The first one you would probably play like I did in the first Kotor. Don't level up very much until you become prestige class. This can put a damper on replay because you would then want to skip past the beginning parts and not do much until you became a prestige class. on 2 you would just turn at a certain level. This would then take away the strategy on deciding what level you want to switch to prestige class. Which one would you guys rather have?
Product of the Cosmos
Im willing to bet you will have that when you make a choice to join the Sith or Jedi somewhere like 30-50% into the game..

(That sentence was way too long, wasn't it?)
ged
I think it was mentioned it would be a special quest that decided which prestige class you got. Ah here we are: “Once you're powerful enough you'll reach a quest that will give you a choice of three prestige classes depending on your alignment. Based on the D20 rule-set you'll have the choice of Sith lord, Marauder and assassin on the darkside, while your light side ambitions can be realised as Jedi Master, watchman and Weapons master. Each comes equipped with its own specific force powers.”

Five? Eight? My character only has two...I think.... ged: Where did you get that?

Ah here we are: Another great idea by the people who brought you beer milkshakes! Rubber Ducky
I wonder what the differences will be.
Zach Morris
Oh o.k. I like that idea. Having to fill in prerequisites. That means It is more up to me. So I can strategize the quickest way to be a prestige class.
