DSLuke Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Good job. Afraid though to read the review yet. Have to gather courage and strength first. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Trooper Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Yet again beaten to the punch. Nice job though. Your 45-hour journey across the galaxy is about much more than just discovering your character's true nature Hmm. 45 hours eh? On official Sith business. Politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed. Mao Tse-Tung

Time played varies according to the gamer. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Archmonarch Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Reading it now. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
D_&_C Posted December 4, 2004 Author Posted December 4, 2004 spoiler rating anyone? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd like that aswell. Don't want to read anything I don't want to know.
GhostofAnakin Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 I'm afraid to read it in case of spoilers. btw, what did KOTOR score in comparison? "Console exclusive is such a harsh word." - Darque"Console exclusive is two words Darque." - Nartwak (in response to Darque's observation)
Trooper Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Dont worry. There are a few small spoilers but nothing major. The bashed Obsidian for using the same engine and the little bugs and thats about it. On official Sith business. Politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed. Mao Tse-Tung
Archmonarch Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Ok not too much in the way of spoilers. It spoils one quest that we already sort of knew about if you read the OXM review. However, it does give away the motivation for moving from planet to planet. And it says the story falls short in the end, not comparing to the original. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
DSLuke Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 According to what I've read I expected a lower score from this review. It is always pointing the negatives. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
kumquatq3 Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 According to what I've read I expected a lower score from this review. It is always pointing the negatives. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm almost done, and I felt teh same way. They spent alot of time attacking the game on key points....
Darth Nemisis Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Hmm, I like. But I also hate that I have to wait.....I should go on a date, and get chicken on a plate, I think her name was Kate, I won't be home until late, but I have nothing else on my slate.....
Archmonarch Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Well, IGN scores always are a little screwy. Expect a lower score from Gamespot. And I find it kind of funny I find it kind of sad The dreams in which I'm dying Are the best I've ever had
Darth Nemisis Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Well with movies games, ect. I really don't care what some one has to say on it, good or bad. That is thier opinion on it, and as we all know opinions vary greatly. I will wait until I have a chnace to play it for myself before I comment or doubt.
DSLuke Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Well I'm glad that I read this review. Now i'm not that excited about the game so it will make the wait easier. And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
Judge Hades Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Even after PC release I am going to wait and see what kind of tech support this game will have.
Trooper Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Bah. IGN always looks towards small faults and deducts its score. KOTOR 2 still sounds very sweet and Im still going to thourghly enjoy it. On official Sith business. Politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed. Mao Tse-Tung
kumquatq3 Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Still, they gave it a 9.3 when K1, the game of teh year, got 9.5 So, interms of what IGN thinks, I doubt there is that much to worry about
Volourn Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 With all the negatives they mention it sure doesn't seem like it deserves a 90+ score. R00fles! DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
envida Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Yeah they said it was buggy. That's what they get for rushing the game
CoM_Solaufein Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 Who cares about IGN. Their site is not that impressive nor their reviews. Volourn Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 "Who cares about IGN. Their site is not that impressive nor their reviews." Who are you and why shoudl we care about your review of IGN's review? It was written. My *only* complaint is the score doesn't really match the review. It's a good thing that the score is 8always* secodnary to me. Overall, they liked the game but have some problems with it. Big whoop. DWARVES IN PROJECT ETERNITY = VOLOURN HAS PLEDGED $250.
DSLuke Posted December 4, 2004 Posted December 4, 2004 So what to the developers think about it? Any insights? And by the light of the moon He prays for their beauty not doom
