July 8, 200421 yr I wonder is there any way that develeopers can include the ability for use to listen to our own music already on the hard drive during KOTOR2? XBOX includes this feature I wonder why don't develeopers take advantage of it? Is it hard to implent or time consuming?
July 8, 200421 yr I'm a big fan of this feature in general, and I wouldn't be totally opposed if the feature was included, but Star Wars really needs a Star Wars soundtrack in my opinion.
July 8, 200421 yr SW game. SW music. It's for the best. Really, what would the atmosphere be if your rap/rock/whatever was playing at the same time.
July 8, 200421 yr I think it'd be pretty awesome if OutKast's "Hey Ya" came blaring out if you entered a cantina. B)
July 8, 200421 yr Catinas seem to be the break from the Williams music. Frankly, I love the scores from the movies. I don't understand why LucasArts have people rescore the games. Use as much as John Williams music as you can I say!
July 8, 200421 yr For the same reason that Mr. Williams composes all those great tracks ("The Droid Invasion", "Duel of the Fates" and the love theme from Attack of the Clones come to mind) for the prequel trilogy.
July 8, 200421 yr Author Yeah it would be sweet if Cantinas had this feature or perhaps the Ebon Hawk.
July 8, 200421 yr For the same reason that Mr. Williams composes all those great tracks ("The Droid Invasion", "Duel of the Fates" and the love theme from Attack of the Clones come to mind) for the prequel trilogy. I get having a score that caters directly to the specific story, but can anyone really touch Williams work? I say reuse as much as you can, and rescore a few scenes.
July 8, 200421 yr Williams' music has been known to literally give me goosebumps. I am a sad, sad panda.
July 8, 200421 yr Ditto here. I remember getting them watching Anakin go after his mother on Tatooine when he was on the speeder when the Duel of Fates started up
July 8, 200421 yr I just wonder, if it will be possible in future times to record the music in 5.1...btw how long will the average length of one music score be? I found that music in Kotor1 was a little too short (about 1
July 8, 200421 yr IMHO in KotOR it really SUCKED when you entered certain areas of the game like bars/clubs etc and an annoying techno beat sound/music started playing. COMPLETELY out of the game's atmosphere.
July 8, 200421 yr As much as I would love to hear some AC/DC, preferably "Highway to Hell", going down the dark path, I have to agree that since it's a Star Wars game, it needs Star Wars music...
July 8, 200421 yr As much as I would love to hear some AC/DC, preferably "Highway to Hell", going down the dark path, I have to agree that since it's a Star Wars game, it needs Star Wars music... When you go to face the final boss they play Highway to Hell. They should have a rock concert in KOTOR II
July 9, 200421 yr That could work too...but we need some Queen... Its not Queen, but how about "Stairway To Heaven" whenever you're doing something particularly Lightside?
July 9, 200421 yr I think it'd be pretty awesome if OutKast's "Hey Ya" came blaring out if you entered a cantina. B) I would prefer Sex and Violence by the Exploited or maybe I Love Living In The City by FEAR for the cantina. Just an idea. Cheers!
July 9, 200421 yr If there was ANY hip-hop in it, I would assassinate the guys responsible for the music  As already stated it has to be SW music, anyway, so making such assumptions probably does not lead anywhere...
July 9, 200421 yr Author What assumptions are you talking about and what is your problem with hip hop?
July 9, 200421 yr That could work too...but we need some Queen... Its not Queen, but how about "Stairway To Heaven" whenever you're doing something particularly Lightside? No hip hop, sorry...unless it's Rapper's Delight, that would be the exception..."Stairway to Heaven" would be fine..."We Will Rock You" will have to be in there, as well as "We are the Champions"...except we need some ska...
