Craftsman Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 http://media.pc.gamespy.com/media/608/608569/imgs_1.html YUM YUM YUM
Craftsman Posted June 10, 2004 Author Posted June 10, 2004 Yeah. They add that more 'flavour' to the game.
prsrulez Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 IGN has better quality pics... Alot brighter so you can see better.
Meshugger Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Brighter pics: http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/679/679264/imgs_1.html "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
Fardragon Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Robes look good, but the boots look a bit bulky. I assume this means the clipping issues are solved. Everyone knows Science Fiction is really cool. You know what PoE really needs? Spaceships! There isn't any game that wouldn't be improved by a space combat minigame. Adding one to PoE would send sales skyrocketing, and ensure the game was remembered for all time!!!!!
sniggy Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 hey! thats duro right there!!! http://xboxmedia.ign.com/xbox/image/articl...05090512269.jpg must be one of the new planets It's very hard to be polite if you're a cat.
Blarghagh Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Just a guess, but I think that might be Telos, and that city-ish thing is the place the Telossions(?) built to send the survivors too whose homes were destroyed. Meh. Just a guess.
Child of Flame Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Just a guess, but I think that might be Telos, and that city-ish thing is the place the Telossions(?) built to send the survivors too whose homes were destroyed. Meh. Just a guess. Nah, Snigs is right...it's Duro man. At least, assuming that Duro was polluted to the extent that they couldn't live on it 4000+ years earlier than in THIS BOOK.
sniggy Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 hm. i'm not quite sure at what time exactly the duros have screwed up their planet. by looking on our own globe here, i'd say that it doesn't take all too much. so maybe it's carth planet- but i still stick to duro. we'll see. It's very hard to be polite if you're a cat.
Renegade Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Finally. Those robes will most CERTAINLY do. -Samori

Like I said, it was just a guess. Really, my star wars knowledge is limited to the movies and KotOR.
OLD SKOOL WHEELMAN Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 I think I just peed my pants...I saw most of those in OXM, but thanks anyway...I wouldn't mind having the robes like that statue in the background...
Judge Hades Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 It doesn't look a whole much different than the first game. Whats there to get all excited about?
Renegade Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 It doesn't look a whole much different than the first game. Whats there to get all excited about? Are you freaking kiddin me?!!!!! The cap and baggy clothing doesn't even come CLOSE to the atrocities in KOTOR. Those friggin jumps suits made it look like I was going mountain climbing. -Samori
Tyrell Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Atleast the Sith look more opposing this time around. PlayMoreConsoles TheForce.net
kumquatq3 Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Atleast the Sith look more opposing this time around. you can't get more opposing than the Cobra Commander look from K1.
Dr. Lobotomy Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Atleast the Sith look more opposing this time around. err... what? You mean "imposing" right?
Vivid Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 I think i see a new saber color... in the first pic the middle jedi http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/679/679264....html?fromint=1 it looks to be a dark red/cherry color. Edit: Ooooh and those hilts look a bit different too

Malon Posted June 10, 2004 Posted June 10, 2004 Wow, those cloaks look really awesome. It's nice to see Jedi robes without that annoying little tail part of the back, those things just irritated the heck out of me. It also looks like you'll be able to see the different accessory-type items you wear, although those boots may just be a part of the clothing. The background pictures look really good, too. Gotta love that statue.
Craftsman Posted June 11, 2004 Author Posted June 11, 2004 Lets hope for more high res stuff soon. No offense but those grahics look 3 years old.
tripleRRR Posted June 11, 2004 Posted June 11, 2004 It's Xbox screens, hooray for geforce 3 graphics. TripleRRR Using a gamepad to control an FPS is like trying to fight evil through maple syrup.
