Patch 0.2.2 has been Released

Hello everyone!

Today we released hotfix patch 0.2.2 for all players. This patch includes the following change:

 

TOP COMMUNITY ISSUES

• Fixed an issue introduced in 0.2.1 that caused some saves to fail to load for some players.

 

We want to thank you all for your patience while we worked on a fix for this issue, and we want you to know that we are working hard to find fixes for the other issues you have been reporting.

To stay current with the commonly reported issues and to follow their status, please visit our Grounded Issue Tracker Trello Board, or you can bookmark our Known Issues List.

If you are experiencing an issue that is not listed on either the Trello board or in the Known Issues List, either email us directly at support@obsidian.net or fill out the Contact form located on our Support Site and include the following information:

1. Platform. (Xbox Console, PC Game Pass, PC Microsoft Store, PC Steam).
2. Multiplayer or Single Player Game. (If multiplayer, can you let us know how many players in total in the game, and their platforms if you know this)
3. Description of issue.
4. Last thing you did in the game before the issue occurred, if applicable.

I just wanted to let you know that I have updated my game to the most recent 0.2.2 update for the Xbox 1 and my game is still crashing when I try and load a save file. My gamertag is "NITROFIRE117"

Does it crash on all your saved games?  Have you tried older ones?

yep it happens,  they're not required to list every little change.  

Woven Fiber is now Crude Rope, no other change there than it was renamed.  I'm hoping that's due to the coming release of rope maybe?

Playing on Xbox One X,  all of my saves work, i deleted all of the "unknown" ones.  looks like everything from before 8/26 is unknown now, but saves from 8/26 yesterday morning worked last night after the patch.  not sure if they didn't before last night, i was a lucky one not affected by the log in issue this week and didn't try them till i read this yesterday evening.

Maybe try deleting the number of save games?  there's posts about issues with more than 10 saves.

I know, though that usually happens in big patches and not one with a single fix.

And I was secretly hoping for undocumented multiplayer fixes. Can't really play that right now in its current state.

At least you're getting spawns.  Our 2nd multiplayer game (first one is desync'd), we get building and have re-unlocked "science" and now ... no mobs were spawning.  None.
