Ended up using a mix of GIMP, lunapic and ms paint. Don't know who original artist is - found on pinterest. But most of times, when downsizing a picture, there's some option to keep the ratio - like a lock symbol for example or a chain link or whatever. For sure resizeing and watercolor version. Can you also make a version that is unchanged and just resized and with watercolor? 2. Would you be able to put spiked armor on the barbarian character? Very subtle changes but brings it closer to how Deadfire portraits looks imo. 2. In his Deadfire portrait his skin looks more yellow than white/pink, even if your version of his PoE1 portrait already looks more like it than the official one. Also, there's no sepia version of the portrait. It's a good excuse to noodle around with some filters and settings in Photopea that I never used before. Though I'm a bit frustrated to realise that pale elves, by default, can't have black hair... Which is a pain, since I was pretty happy with how that looked after floundering to change that portrait's hair color to white. As for the Aloth PoE1 portrait, your right he does look a little sunburnt in hindsight! I tried to match his face to his ears and hand in the vanilla PoE1 portrait. Which are likely that way due to the light passing through his skin. Anyway it's a simple enough to change that sunburn into a subtle tan! I didn't make any changes to the watercolors version from my previous post, but figured I'd including them in this post as well to save people having to scroll.
