That is what I have been trying to say cronanfett315!!! I was hoping that the game would read your KOTOR save file and have the game based off of the actions and quests you completed in KOTOR. I really wanted to have KOTOR 2 be played by ALL of the original cast. That way the story could continue. Carth could go to Telos and see his son and maybe Mission would find her brother somewhere. Plus I wanted to have Bastilla and Revon get married. Then you could travel the Galaxy with ur wife and get even FARTHER into the plot of the original KOTOR.

I don't like how the story for KOTOR 2 is going. I am getting the feeling that Revon and Bastilla will be killed off in KOTOR 2. The Ebon Hawk is ABANDONED!!!

AND T3-M4 AND HK-47 are no longer with their master. REVON!!! I HIGHLY doubt that AFTER all of the sith and other enemies I took out (8 versus 1 sometimes) and still survived thay a couple of SITH ASSASIANS would be able to take REVON and the crew out!

Plus Zaalbar has a lifedept so he would still stick with Revon and Carth is loyal so he would too. Where Zaalbar goes Mission follows. The droids would still be with their master. Juhani is also loyal. Jolee gets free room and board so he would stick around also. Canderous feels that it is an honor to serve with you so he would stay for th "glory" of battle.

As I CLEARLY stated in my "OBSIDIAN REALLY PISSES ME OFF" thread.......... I don't like where they are going with the game. I might rent it but that is it!

Here's an idea, DONT BUY THE GAME! And don't waste everyone else's time tell us u don't like the plot!

Another great idea by the people who brought you beer milkshakes!

Yep. The exclamation points and all-caps proves just how pissed off about a game that he knows nothing about.

DragonTamer, let's look at what we do know. Obsidian hasn't said jack or shit about Revan (spelled with an A - I figured since you worship said character, you should start spelling the name correctly. It's only been pointed out to you a few times now) or Bastilla. What exactly points to their death, or are you making a broad speculation and then denouncing a game company for said speculation?

They also said their will be an HK model droid, who will have the same combat class, but they've also hinted strongly that it's not necessarily HK-47. So you can't say that HK-47 isn't with his master. You're also up in arms about how they might have been seperated, when they got seperated before KOTOR to begin with.

The Obsidian devs have a history of taking Bioware technology and producing better games. KOTOR:TSL isn't released yet, and you're calling them idiots.

Your opinions are childish, rash, and close-minded. I highly encourage you to calm down, wait for December and play the game before you make a decisions.

If that is too difficult for you, then I recommend an intervention and some serious therapy.

Did you ever think of a little thing called HARDER enemies! They could always change the enemies lvls to account for your lvl.

So you'd spend the entire game fighting a bunch of enemies on the same level as Yoda and Palpatine?

C'mon, now. That would be incredibly lame. The Star Wars universe isn't Dragonball Z, where each unprecedented new power level is suddenly met with an even more unprecedented new power level in order to prolong the series.

KOTOR 1 had plenty of room to grow. The game was artificially capped at level 20. Most likely a Yoda or Palpatine would have been somewhere between level 30-40. From what I know about the D&D third edition rules (Star Wars included), up to level 40 is allowed. The enemies might be a bit of a stretch for the imagination, but it could work. It also appears that Obsidian might allow this for KOTOR 2.

NWN: Hordes of the Underdark worked pretty well for levels above 20. I think it could work almost as well for KOTOR 2.

Depends on whether or not we literally translate between D20 Star Wars and KOTOR. In D20 Star Wars, I'm pretty sure Palpatine is a Level 20 Sith Acolyte turned Sith Lord; I don't have Yoda's statistics, but I'd wager it's something similiar.

For the sake of my respect for the series, I would say Yoda and Palpatine were beyond Level 20 in KOTOR terms, if only so I don't have to wrap my mind around the idea of four Jedi on the Ebon Hawk going from level 1 to Yoda levels of power within the space of a few months. :)

So yes, there's room for Level 30 and above, if we take that approach. Now, regularly facing enemies who would pose a challenge for a level 30 and above character in the Star Wars universe is an entirely different story....

I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you

But I get the feeling that you don't like it

What's with all the screaming?

You like monkeys, you like ponies

Maybe you don't like monsters so much

Maybe I used too many monkeys

Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?

Me: Ummm will you let me have my job if I dance for you?

Boss: No, I don't think so-

Me: JUST LET ME DANCE

I'm also of the view that the romances were really one of the best aspects of Kotor. They added dimension, were well scripted for the most part, and really made me feel empathy towards the characters.

The way Bastila softened during the romance, and you found out that her cold facade was just that: a facade. That she was really a kind, caring person who had been handed way too much responsibility, and that it made her afraid of failing.

Now: I won't deny it, the highlight of the original Kotor for me was on the Star Forge, where my character finally got to tell her he loves her. And she him. Just wonderful, I found it more rewarding than the final fight against Darth Malak.

Plus: The voice acting skills of both Jennifer Hale and Raphael Sbarge for Bastila and Carth, respectively really added to the romance plots as well, every line was perfectly delivered.

I would hope that Obsidian do equally enthralling romances in Kotor2, plots that advance, and helps the characters grow on multiple levels. And that they have managed to get actors capable of really engrossing the player in these plots.

I'm more interested in the 'other' relationships that are promised in this game: you know, the master/apprentice thing, friendly rivals, allies that you don't necessarily like but do respect...that sort of thing.

The romance was fine and dandy, but I'd prefer the depth of character interaction be spread around.

Cheers!
