May 24, 200421 yr A possible stab at the storyline here, I'm thinking this might be a possibility Looking at KotOR1, I just thought about this, with your brief encounter with Ajunta Pall. If you are dark side, he comments upon what power you have, whether that power will destroy you as it had destroyed him. He then mentions about 'Our secret' or 'The secret of the Sith Lords' (or something to that effect - I might play through it again just to satisfy my point ) It's not the Star Map, because you say about that and he dismisses it. Therefore, is it possibility, with KotOR2 entitled 'Sith Lords', that we indeed unveil this secret that Ajunta Pall speaks of? 'Will you find it?' Ajunta Pall asks Revan. The disappearance of Revan at the beginning of KotOR2 may suggest Revan has gone to find that secret. Dark Side or Light Side. This plot opens similar oppurtunities for boths scenarios - Revan, the redempted jedi, falling to the dark side yet again uncovering the secret of the sith lords. Or Revan, the disgraced dark jedi lusting for power after the destruction of the star forge in the failed war fought by the sith against the republic. This has got my mind whizzing. It's a possibility, but then again, I might be wrong. :D
May 24, 200421 yr With different writers at the helm, who knows? Bioware may have layed hints at what they wanted to do down the line, but they're not developing this game.
May 24, 200421 yr Nice idea, i wouldn't mind that in KotOR II. "Some men see things as they are and say why?""I dream things that never were and say why not?"- George Bernard Shaw"Hope in reality is the worst of all evils because it prolongs the torments of man."- Friedrich Nietzsche "The amount of energy necessary to refute bull**** is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it." - Some guy
May 24, 200421 yr I always thought he was talking about the Star Forge. I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you But I get the feeling that you don't like it What's with all the screaming? You like monkeys, you like ponies Maybe you don't like monsters so much Maybe I used too many monkeys Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?
May 24, 200421 yr Hmm, that's actually not a bad train of thought.. I too just dismissed what he was talking about as the star forge. I believe he doesn't disagree with any of your suggestions so much as he doesn't quite remember what you will actually find. Could be the Star Forge. It could also serve as the lead on to some other contraption in II.. EDIT: Now that I think about it, he must be referring to some other contraption. I believe Revan and Malak were the first Sith who found the Star Forge and used its powers. There's no mention of the ancient Sith lords using any kind of Rakatan factory, way back when they were trying to gain power. Ajunta must be referring to something else, I guess.
May 25, 200421 yr redempted Stop making shit up....ass. "Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger." - Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials "I have also been slowly coming to the realisation that knowledge and happiness are not necessarily coincident, and quite often mutually exclusive" - meta
May 25, 200421 yr Arkan must have felt left out by not really having anything to say. Some people. OT: I always thought he was talking about the Star Forge, though if he wasn't, I hope OE picks up and runs with it -- s'long as it's something cool.
May 25, 200421 yr Who's Ajunta Pall...? (Seriously, I've forgotten. ) That Sith ghost on Korriban who whines and moans like a little girl about how much he regrets turning to the Dark Side. I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you But I get the feeling that you don't like it What's with all the screaming? OT: I always thought he was talking about the Star Forge, though if he wasn't, I hope OE picks up and runs with it -- s'long as it's something cool. I always have something to say, in case you missed my post. I just pointed out that you're making up words. "Of course the people don't want war. May 25, 200421 yr Christ that's a frightening signature you have. :D Like something outta that movie "American Gothic"!
May 25, 200421 yr Ah, okay. Christ that's a frightening signature you have. What, never seen a fat kid dance before? I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you But I get the feeling that you don't like it What's with all the screaming? May 25, 200421 yr Oh dear god ... The "secret" is just the dark side, the Sith were ruled by fallen Jedi that naturaly used the dark side. THAT is what he means ... of course in this age pretty much anything must be spoon feed ...
May 25, 200421 yr Who's Ajunta Pall...? (Seriously, I've forgotten. ) That Sith ghost on Korriban who whines and moans like a little girl about how much he regrets turning to the Dark Side. Wheres your heart, man? I wept like a child during Ajunta Palls heartfelt plea from beyond the grave. If only he could have been redempted.

May 25, 200421 yr I always thought he was talking about the Star Forge. He was talking about the Star Map in Naga Sadows tomb on Korriban. He talked about drawing his "Dark Power" from it because it was so tainted with the Darkside. Ajunta Pall was an interesting character, but not interesting enough to base the meat of the story of KOTOR 2 around in my opinion. However it would be nice to finally get some more background information on him, considering all we really know is he was one of the Sith that founded Korriban back when the Dark Jedi were expelled by the Jedi council. He must have been one hell of a bad ass to have a Sith Tomb in the company of Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow. Another thing who the hell is Tulak Hord? Bioware just making up random Sith without any background info? Cheers!
May 25, 200421 yr Yes. Really there is not much, the far back we go is about the time Marka Ragnos died. And even if the Star Map was a dark side spot the basis of Sith power was the dark side of the force, they did not need any "superweapon of the week" to get around.
May 25, 200421 yr Wheres your heart, man? I wept like a child during Ajunta Palls heartfelt plea from beyond the grave. If only he could have been redempted. :D ....well you could actually convince him to leave his tomb and seek redepmtion (persuade if i remember correctly). Still ajunta pall was kind of cool .."I command this of you" yeah
May 25, 200421 yr .Another thing who the hell is Tulak Hord? Bioware just making up random Sith without any background info? Just some random punk with some uber sh*t 'earmuffs' that meant to pass off as a mask, a mask for Christ's sake! <_<
May 25, 200421 yr Author lol @ earmuffs. So true as well. I thought Ajunta Pall was great, in my opinion a continuation of him would be ok. Oh and I'm so sorry for spelling REDEMPTION wrong, I'll shoot myself next time. And he said that the secret of the sith lords was 'buried' somewhere, 'not here' - I think that the Star Map was not 'buried' as such. Also is a Star Map *really* all that significant (on its own) to be classed as a secret? Hmn, maybe I'm just making excuses for myself. What I think would be cool was if an ancient sith civilisation (the original sith species) was buried beneath the valley of the dark lords, at least some reference has been made to this in Jedi Academy, but then, that might be my imagination
