Murray and MPJ have both been very disappointing and I never had any expectations for Westbrook to live up to.

Maybe they can be the next team to inexplicably hire Doc Rivers.

A lot of bad blood between Malone and Booth, it seems they were actively sabotaging each other. As to why Malone was let go, it seems like like he lost the locker room. The players gave up, so this is probably in a effort to jolt them in to action to try and salvage the season.

Man, I'm loving the playoffs this year.

I'm rooting for GS over the Wolves because it's a better matchup for Denver but we still need to get past OKC first.

I caught 2 games live against the Clippers and I still cannot get over the number of timeouts the teams have. To make matters worse they use it for commercials. It just kills any game momentum. I understand why people don't watch the games...

I think the constant penalties and free throws are even worse than the TV timeouts. But yeah, people generally only watch the playoffs, and sometimes not even then. Watching the regular season makes sense if your team has been in the gutter for forever and suddenly start to have a good season and/or if your team gets a breakout star player, but besides that, there are way too many games and they happen every single day of the week. I prefer the NFL's approach to having the majority of games all take place on Sunday (and I generally hate having to tune into the solitary Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football games, so I usually don't unless it's my own team).

Also, two years later, and it's very clear the Bucks' gambit in rebuilding the team around Giannis and Lillard has not worked out in their favor. The team is worse in every way than it was before that trade, and now Lillard blew out his achilles at age 36. I wouldn't be surprised if Giannis ends up leaving this off-season or the next, the state of the team under this GM and Doc Rivers has become rather deplorable.

I wouldn't mind a few less games, maybe in the 56-65 range, but I don't think that's very likely to happen.

We have a joke that during the last few minutes of the game it switches from RTWP to turn-based mode.

But like I said, I'm loving the playoffs in general this year even if I find the Nuggets somewhat painful to watch at times. My heart stops every time Westbrick has the ball and they play so lazy and sloppy sometimes.

It's super hard to watch the games sometimes, I think they need to make it far more accessible because as someone who lives in Denver it's very, very hard and/or expensive to watch the Nuggets. I have NBA league pass because we got back into basketball in a big way when we started playing fantasy, but even then there are so many game blackouts and I don't care about the major market teams they're always trying to push, especially the Lakers.

Now, if you just don't like the product, that's a different story, but it's easy to see why viewership is down in general, but the NBA isn't alone in that as viewership is down across all major sports.

Plus from what I understand each game is broadcast on a different network.

Imo they should half the number of games. It's impossible for anyone living a normal life to follow anything apart from the team they cheer for.

It's a bad experience, even for the live crowd I think. They should reduce the amount of time-outs and reduce the duration of them.

You don't like the to watch the life and death of Westbrook, the man is pure chaos.

Yeah, from what I understood the local networks need to have a certain percentage of games streamed.

If I set my VPN to another place not in the immediate region I can watch all the Nuggets games but they recently struck a deal to air some on local TV. Otherwise, I'd have to pay 75 bucks a month to watch all their non-nationally televised games and I'm not that big of a fan... especially since I can just use a VPN.

Man, great Knicks and Celtics game and another one that came right down to the wire.

Now the Nuggets are getting their teeth kicked in by the Thunder. I turned it off at the half with them down by over 30.

I feel like the Nuggets are the embodiment of this.

Didn't miss much. Glad it wasn't at a time when I would have watched it.

What is this bricklaying of a game. Least points scored in the first quarter in nba playoff history. 😂

I didn't watch the last 2 games, well, I watched 2 minutes of the last game and I saw MPJ barely scrape iron on a 3 and then miss it by a few feet on another 3 so I turned it off.

Joker should get MVP because he's carried a very mediocre team this far while Shai's team is just all-around better. He has the much bigger lift.

Murray is questionable for today's game... Seem to have gotten sick. Welp...

Yeah but they will always compare him to MJ and Lebron when voting for the mvp. Same reason Lebron didn't get more than 4.

He's putting up Wilt numbers and he's already one of the greatest to ever do it. It just goes to show that the MVP award is a "vibe" award and the requirements and arguments for it change every season.

That dude is the definition of questionable and I'm calling it a Canadian conspiracy if he sits.

At this point it's just a matter of winning more championships and he will be called the greatest ever.

rip bozo. Bit of a fart of a game 7, at least after the first quarter. Honestly, these post-championship Nuggets are starting to seem similar to the post-championship Bucks...still a good team, but starting to age and get injured too much with there being no bench because of having to pay everyone, and all the guys you paid besides your superstar not really consistently performing up to the level they should be. I personally don't think Jokic or Giannis will ever be able to have a team around them that will get them into the Michael Jordan / Kareem / LeBron stratosphere - they'll always be at least a rung or two below, with the two of them both probably sitting somewhere in the top 10 to top 25 of all-time when they're done, especially what with the recent changes to the salary cap to make it more punishing to over-spending teams. And make no mistake, winning both championships and MVPs almost always requires a great-performing team around you (though Jokic did already receive an MVP in 2021 that went against this historical requirement due to there not being a great candidate in the top seeds that season - hence the "almost always"): SGA will win this season's MVP because of having a better team and more wins as a result. Flip their records, and Jokic would be winning his fourth.

I turned the game off at the start of the second half... Denver needs to make some changes, and apart from Jokic, AG and CB I think that no one should be safe, even CB for a good deal.

Is there even a market for Murray or MPJ? They both got visits from the money truck and have stupidly huge contacts for players that have never even been All-Stars.

Idk, they are starters and they did win the ring, but as you said too much money. Maybe some GM sees them as a good fit for their roster but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yeah, money is what I'm worried about because Denver is known as a cheaper team and I don't see how we get more solid rotation players without going into the tax or moving at least one of our max deals. It's going to be an interesting off season.
