Recommended Posts

So with new Dlcs we are getting a large variety of armors and weapons that can harmonize well for a good character look - both visually and effectively for some chosen classes.

I'll start and here a few of my favorite outfit combos:

"The Hermit" - High Harbinger Robes, Magran's Favor, Frostfall and Mantle of the Seven Bolts and the Antler helm - great for a druid or shaman

Nope, that's not how I did it.

I summoned Citzal's Enchanted Armoury. Then I summoned Concelhaut's Draining touch on top of it. End the encounter with Draining Touch still active (has no duration but will go away after one hit - so don't hit with it).

You will keep the weapon that Draining Touch replaced permanently. Put it in your stash. You can use it as any other weapon. It's a one handed great sword that scales with level.

You can do this as often as you want to produce more - so you can dual wield great swords. I made a seperate thread about it some time ago: https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/104160-dual-great-sword-wielding-yay/?hl=%2Benchanted+%2Barmory

For the Breastplate do this:

Summon Armory, cast Form of the Fearsome Brute (from potion if you want or if you are a Transmuter).

End encounter.

Form of tFB will end you you'll get a nice scaling Breastplate with 0 recovery penalty.

As far as I know this wasn't patched. I only recently made a bug report and it wasn't even answered, so...

You can look like that permanently, not temporarily. It's a bug though. ;)

Since bugs that I report never get fixed I believe it's a permanent one.

Only builds that I post get nerfed - not bugs. :p

Edit: great sword: rechecked in game 2 min ago: still works! :D

Edit2: breastplate seems to be fixed. Can't keep it with Fearsome Brute from potion or spell... :(
