August 8, 20187 yr Ydwin can get Food Resting bonuses. Case closed, I'd say. ... (http://skin-horse.com/comic/recognize-a/) Shut up, Unity. Not helping my cause here at all. Edited August 8, 20187 yr by Zap Gun For Hire
August 8, 20187 yr My only question is....how is it pronounced? Is it Vampire?F-ampire?Fampyr?Vampyr?Whenever I talked about them, it was awkward
August 8, 20187 yr Aloth pronounces it once in a banter. Can be heard at ~15:57. Not Vampire, more like Vampyr? I guess? (Turns out it's very similar to how you pronounce wampir in my own language).
August 8, 20187 yr While I think the text is pretty clear on Ydwin, it's important to note that living beings can eat souls to extend their lives. In Twin Elms there were two factions that did that. I just thought it was implied that Ydwin died in the ritual or separating the soul had the same effects as biological death.
August 8, 20187 yr She says that the experiment dislodged her soul from her body as well so I guess she's technically dead. Has to sustain herself on luminous adra and flesh of animals, like she used to in her previous life. Her wording.
August 8, 20187 yr Do you think it is too late for Obsidian to make her a full companion? I don't think so. Josh said once in one of the streams that they are well aware people want it, so I hope it means that if they upgrade a sidekick their first option will be Ydwin.
August 8, 20187 yr Do you think it is too late for Obsidian to make her a full companion? I think it is. My guess is that what they did in Beast of Winter is the extend they will expand upon existing characters. Which is smart - making her a companion would require some heaving editing of base campaign. Exploring those characters in expansions means writing stuff for new content only.
August 11, 20187 yr She is becoming a curious scientific case of interest to the community, I see :D.
