What? You totally spoiled it for me... I didn't wan't to know it was about Darth Bush, who was so angry at his aprentices Darth Laden and Darth Saddam that he mis-used his (Force-)power to kill them... PS. I agree, this one should be locked...

High Quality Media patches?????
BattleCookiee replied to Bobba Fett's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Indeed they have added in a new movie (1, not 5/6). In that one Telos explodes. Very cool, but probably impossible to get ingame... (NalMov 6) Edit: Also, since the patch opening any of the Kho... (and scn) movies does not work... Wonder why that is... EDIT2: Also odd is that the 2 endmovies have not been changed... EDIT3: CsnMov01.Bik is NOT Sion. PerMov03 is Sion's. Seeming how also Kreia's doesn't work for me, I believe this one is Visas' EDIT4: And about the deleted scenes. One was GO-TO's Flyby (NarMov3); possibly intended to be used before GO-TO's meeting with the Twins, HK-50's, Hanharr and the aliens (forgot type) The other one is a alternative for Khoonda's "Mines Cleared" where half of the Bad Guys makes it through... (unlike all die in the current). It might have been intended to get used if you defused one side of Khoonda's mines, but not all... (maybe it even does, but nobody confirmed it) -
Czerka's Mercenaries on Telos. Not because it they were really tough, but because the AI really shows their lack of intelligence here... Unlike other times, like the Twins, and Kotor 1 the Shields here stop Vibro-blades; and they won't do any good. So you need Bao-Dur to smack these shields, in order to give damage; and there lies the problem. If you give orders then select anybody else, he will ignore the shield-breaking and die before all shields break; result some-one still up with shields that slowly kills you because you cannot harm him... Then you can also control Bao yourself to cause these shields to break, but then your other chars will waste swings, use useless powers, and love running into the next group of thugs when they shouldn't and get killed. VERY ANNOYING <_<

Pretty darn pointless, yes. Also a big minor is that you HAVE to be LS in order to complete it... Alright, you can get 2 Navigation thingies for it, but why need 2 of these? We need a DS variation (or just 2) of the battery. If it is not worse enough you can only get that as LS'er, you can also waste it on the pylon docks...

To which statement are you referring? I suspect the bold one...
-
If renaming doesn't work look in extra's/options for "Hide extension for known file types", then de-select that... Maybe then you can change them. And my "dos" stuff is just following the instructions once you find the command prompt... (which is hidden quite well...)

I am not talking about patches/bugfixes here... talking about "Added content" And Yavin IV is "added content"... It's like saying Throne of Bhaal was part of BG2 because it was in the gold edition... And I didn't say Kotor2 had overpowered crystals. It had overpowered lightsabers. Really; all the power of 1 Kotor1 crystal is lower than one of Kotor2's Non-Crystal parts... And don't say Kotor1 (even with Yavin) had more powerfull crystals. These 2 didn't give the same bonus as a certain *name* crystal gives...
-
Ah, yes, in the PC that would be so. On the X-Box you only have those if you have X-Box Live... So, since it came there first (without these crystals) and is "added content" it is discussable if it counts...
-
The movies are not (greatly) improved, and large (atleast 1 gig) Totally NOT worth it... The music is a must though... Also, see: here and here
-
We can discuss if these were included in Kotor1

BattleCookiee replied to c_monke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion

DS Consular to Sith Lord or Assassin?
BattleCookiee replied to c_monke's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I would choose Sith Assassin. Sith Lord gives extra FP, but even as Maurader Force Crush can be spammed in the end. Sith Lord gives more Force Powers, but really, after lvl 20 or so as any Jedi Class, you have all those you need/want, and the rest is just filling... Sith Assassin has more Skills Sith Assassin has more VP -
Dex/Str. (highest one of these 2) adds now to +AB, instead of Str. The Damage bonus (1 damage per 2 points, or 1 damage per +1 modifier) is still only given by strenght. Not that you really need that bonus damage
-
Ofcourse. She was no Sith Lord, She was developer at OE... And she actually wrote the story (how else do you get so many knowledge of what to come) "Hey, that can't happen to me, CUT it..." etc.
-
In kotor1 you did not have Lightsabers of Mass Destruction, 1 BAB per lvl, or +8 Str. objects. Nor Special Crystals giving major bonusses. It also didn't have 50 lvl's where you would get more skills and feats then you ever need. I mean, in Kotor1 you could pick Force Lightning in the end, and then only in your last 2 lvls. Mainly meaning you could only use it on your last planet and the ends (Unknown Planet, Star Forge) In kotor2 you can pick it pretty soon and waste everybody with it in half the game...
-
If it is somewhere, it is not in the Recorded Sound Files... She wonders (like you) how you got that bond. It get's never answered though...
-
So now she already saw she was going to loose *jsut* a hand. What if Sion went and cut her in 2? Ah well, luck is Force-Powered, right?
-
Eh, Sion cut off Kreia's Hand because he could "feel" her... Why not mask off?
-
No, the Navigation-computer of the Ebon Hawk... Oh, did I forget: Mira-Hanharr fight consequenses The GO-TO/Remote Scene
-
Don't know about you, but even without visiting these forums I knew something was missing. Ending, HK-Factory, Voice-locked console etc. All mentioned ingame and promised, but never given...
-
OE overreacts damn much with these powers. Movies: Battle-station can kill planet. First time ever, unique, very dangerous Kotor 2: A Push-over does it Kotor1: Powerfull Force Bonds, like the one from Master to apprentice Kotor2: Even more powerfull bond, lethal even, also giving benificial powers to both. HOW the heck do you even get a bond with that witch anyways? Bastila had it because she pumped her energy in Revan to keep him alive... Kreia because, eh, eh, she was with you on a ship??? Movies: The Force is everywhere, all living thing etc. Kotor2: KILL IT (A.K.A Kill everything existing) Movies: People can mask Alignment Kotor2: People can turn "invisible" at will...
-
@ Jedi Master Dakari Again Sideous' like "Hiding your Force Affection", not "being invisible when infront of your enemy" Acually, that can. See Dungeon Siege - Goblins Not appreciated by everybody though...
-
That's what Palpatine does. And I think that would be ok, seeing the movies and such But, unlike Palpie, Kreia is just unnoticed even when standing next/infront to a master...
-
Hiding one's physical appearance when you stand infront of a person would be "being invisible"... Even if I *hide*, standing infront of your face would make me pretty much seen...
