illegitimate children
BattleCookiee replied to Knights&Darths's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
All fun and well, but we must also think about the children (nobody ever thinks about the children). Anyone disagreeing must talk to HK-47... *Thread Locked* -
Explain me how the US identified Friend-or-Foe then in an overgrown jungle where the enemy looks exactly like the allied and the civilians, and also knows the area so has a good chance to hide and put traps... without being shot at first?

To the first; most of these were legal peace-keeping occassions, not blatent conquering of another country. And Clinton never made the army look as important for a country as Bush does now. To the second; never said that... No, the government causes more panick than the terrorist itself with all the Terror Alarms and Terror Laws Did we... Since when is Afghanistan an European country... And once again, remind yourself what country brought the Taliban into power there... No problem with this statement. Jack Thompson thoughts? A game like Battlefield 2 gives the US-Army alot more prestige than a Kotor2... And your generation is a large difference, eh? Well, this generation joins the army and goes get himself killed in orders that should never be given in the first place, and uses violence as a method to end conflicts... Lying about sex is something different than lying about everything, including spying, torture and killing You don't need to if you don't take posts out of context... @ Eldar: The "Hitler" comment is probably aimed at me. But fact is that I already complain about policies, and not person, but you guys turn it in "BW is comparing Hitler and Bush" First time around I was comparing the willingness of the Nazi's army with the willingness of the US-Army to follow "wrong orders". As a matter of fact, the US-army even follows better than the Nazi one, as also implied with the "military attempts to kill Hitler", quite a scary thought. The second time around I commented that America was starting to take a more facist policy of "worshipping" the army and violence, and reducing the people's own opinion by influencing them and force them their way of thinking... as seen by the spying on citizens, propaganda, and quotes like: "You either support us or you are a terrorist" Does anybody actually read what I write?

Yeah, everybody who has enough influence when asking the first time, or has the Restoration Project Fix... -
And I try so hard , or is it the too many part?

Yeah, I agree. Far worse than a generation of kids who think that war is a good method of politics, killing is a justified meaning for improvement, thinks the army rocks bigtime and lying will be allowed and can help you forward... "

Troops is a new name for balistic missiles... Maybe that is how Bush got it's WMD's in Iraq idea Guess you know exactly which cave Osama is hiding at? Nobody would suspect an attack of any kind if you left your ships in the US, except when getting out for an war. No, they will never get time to defend themselves " Nuke terrorists, eh? Guess you don't care about Collateral Damage of any kind. Hey, you live next to a terrorist. It is not like 1000's of people in the West also do without knowing...

Third time playthrough dialogue
BattleCookiee replied to Eneny's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yes. It exists. But it is quite buggy and hard to actually get... you have to be lucky -
I wonder why, if all the convo is indeed included, the people who make the Restoration Project, say in their forum that there is no trace of what might to happen for this movie...
-
According to rumor you could side with Nihilus, given said movie as result...

That would be getting outside of your isolation of staying inside the US. Without bases in other countries it would be quite impossible too..., unless you guys find out a new type of planes (and ships) which such a range (and ships speed/stealth) to get there and be able to get back... Yeah, those damn trees (and the guys within) really shot at you soldiers before they got the Napalm attack... Main reason for "shooting back" was that the Vietcong were very good at hiding, and you had no idea they were there untill attacked... not because PR forced your guys too...

Take her clothes off (in inventory while on the hawk) then talk her into putting on a new dress... Repeat as many times as you like -
A government spying on terrorists, or possible terrorist is fine. Afterall that is for national security. But spying on every single inhabitant of your country with all means and without need for it (suspicion) isn't exactly a nice thought. And what if you have a few calles just having fun and that intelligence agent really thinks that you are planning on an attack. Remember recently ago there was a guy killed in a plane because he screamed he has a bomb; which wasn't true. There was national panick here because a 16-year old muslim told his girl-friend not to go to a city on a specific day. Cops emergency number got called over 100 times just for that. Was it intentional, no... Did it cause mass-panick? Yes. Then what do you think about if every phone call and e-mail is intercepted and wrongly interpretated. There won't be a single day without a major "Terrorist Threat"... And MacLeodCorp, you can stop trying. Also tried myself to talk against the American Propaganda (see Military thread), but you a few misinterpretated posts later everybody flames you for being "naieve, and influenced (like them, but the on the wrong side)"... Yeah, I really think that militaries can stop existing on this moment. Yes, I think there is a easy way for world peace. No, not at all did I reply to Commisar's question of how there can be world peace, explaining the only reason how it can be, without knowing that it was an impossible task that would never happen Another tip would be to keep it to America, if you start talking about current of historical politics of other continents they cannot follow you anymore... PS. The Italics is sarcasm... (just mentioning it, before people start twisting my posts again)...

I even believe all the Mandalorians are supposed to be Invernable at that moment...

Which would be quite impossible if you guys stay in the US and they stay in their own country. Hell, Terrorism would flourish. Just attack the US, and then get out... safe. Threatning with sanctions and then giving them when not listened to, can be good. In Iraq in specific it was because countries like the US, France and Germany traded with Iraq for oil outside of the sanctions...

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline
BattleCookiee replied to Aurora's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
*Thread pruned* Please post only if you have something to add, it would be a pain for people to scroll through pages of spam for news about the Project... -
Which would be impossible for a game made in 1 year exactly (just like Craigboy2 already mentioned) EDIT: Just looked at it (the one that Craigboy2 linked to) and of all the footage I don't understand why they actually removed all those cool lightning effects from Telos... Also; At the Gizka Forums there was a thread how on E3 they showed the PC killing off NPC's like Mira or Atton, does somebody has a link to such a movie?
-
Guess they really won't due things like that if the world has agreed on heavy sanctions if that happens. There was just no training in the past. It is a pretty recent thing to do that. Machinery is complicated. Just try a non-technical person to open a PC-Case and do usefull stuff, no way they can do it... Let stand even more advanched technical stuff... But who says you need to use military force? If you give economical sanctians and reduction of help-cash if they do not support, and you are backed up by the other countries in the world (UN) they could be easily persuaded to agree. We with Holland did pretty dictatorial stuff in Indonesia. Killing 100.000's of people to keep our leadership there and preserve the resources they would "give" to us. Then the US came, supported by many other European Countries and the UN, forcing us to back off or get sanctians, or had to pay large parts of our debt back. It wasn't long after before Indonesia became independant, and there wasn't a single US-Soldier that set foot on our country to do so... I would not go as far as to what you said before (stop all aid and military support, and get companies back on the US soil). You may not like it, but the US is dependant on the world, and the world is dependant of the US, how we might despise your current Military and Nationalistic Policies. Backing up like that would surely collapse American economy (especially if you call all corporations back, which should not even be possible anyway actually) and cause other mayhem. And also note that we do not hate the US because it is big and has alot of power. We only hate it because currently they use it wrongly. ALOT. You didn't hear many bad words about the US when Clinton was in office, but now that Bush rules you can not walk without hearing US-Critisism where-ever you are...
-
No, you just have to train them so they can be all that themselves. And I don't talk about the US here that should specifically help Africa. We (the Europeans) colonised it and so we should help it. But your America sees himself als "policeman and caretaker" of the World. If you really wan't to be know as that act like one. Don't start invading countries who really don't need it right away, leave citizens crying for help in a dictatorship and poison the whole world by refussing the Kyoto-Treaty... And h

But modern farming also needs alot of education. Big point now in Help Care is that we (the Western) thought that if we just give them modern stuff like tractors and advanched machinery, they would get up. But machines break, and if nobody knows how the things actually work, you can't fix them and continue on with that less advanched (read: ancient) way. That is also why the *current* way of aid is mainly education, to learn people how to use the stuff they get better, or how to create it themselves, and how to use the land better etc.
-
But they can't, can they, because due to colonisation they started right away in a global enviroment. And due to hue debt with where only the RENT is higher than the national profit there is no way to look for any advanchment... And they also cannot be self-sufficient because due to lower technological level, their farming techniques and such take about 4x the terrain to produce the same as the Western. And then they need to have place for export-products too...
-
When do you start to realise they just can't get such a major step forward due to the fact that most of their economics is based on piss poor prices for export and major (especially for Africa) prices for the import products...? They cannot build up a better economy to preserve themselves if the International Market makes it impossible for them to enter and thus completely pushes them out...
