How to Finish Malachor V as Mira...
BattleCookiee replied to Jambo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Open SWKotor2.ini. Change the line EnableScreenshot=0 to EnableScreenshot=1. Then press Print Screen ingame... (turn them JPG and maybe a bit brighter before posting though) *Waits for SS* -
1) I thought it was only possible on X-box, if possible at all... THE WAY TO KILL KODIN in 6 easy and fun steps: 1. Make the droid at the Docks (TT-32 (?) tell you about his shield..., and fellow droid, agree to help 2. Get to Kodin. Ask for the Droid he sells. Threatnen to kill him if you don't get the droid 3. After his cute little warning. Threat him a bit more (need persuasion skill) 4. After telling little droid to get away, since it will get violent, talk to Kodin again 5. Mr. Kodin is angry. We don't want that, so tell him that you would like to kill him 6. Mr. Kodin gives another cute little warning. True DS'ers as we are this warning is a nice reason to slice him open...

I wonder why nobody had mentioned this one yet: Despite the Handmaidens saying the are with 5 and Brianna is the 6th, there are actually 7 in the Academy 1/2 When the convo with Atris ends, in the great round chamber 3/4 Just before the room where the fights are 5 Just before the room where T3 is 6 Brianna Yet, when you fight 7. The Handmaiden at the Fighting Mat spawns, without removing one of the existing Maiden, and there are 7... "What? Another Handmaiden? Did you suddenly started breeding when I wasn't looking?" -Atton...

Where can I use this feat?
BattleCookiee replied to Darth Kavar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Also Droid Planet, however you had to choise to send GO-TO or T3... As there was is some Lethal cloud there for meatbags, they needed to have that one removed before the Human chars could show up... (And since it was cut, I have no idea how the planted the droids to do that...) -

*** Post your bugs/problems here ***
BattleCookiee replied to Craftsman's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Bugs found, eh... Well, these following ones are new, and not found on my other (very long) lists: Bugs Amusing Glitches Also alot of "my found bugs"-pics over here 1) Force Bond with Kreia. Force Power Force Body (50% Force 50% Vitality) is not given through this bond. The animation shows on both. Yet only Kreia gets a Green Up arrow on her portrait. Also fun to note is the Effects message screen. If you go to the effects/feedback (through Quests tab) with the PC Kreia doesn't display Force Body, even if she has it on, and it shows more arrows than effects. If Kreia is selected when you get here she will have it, and also the NPC is shown to have it, even if it doesn't work, and there is an arrow less than there are effects given (pic coming soon on CrimsonKeep if you don't follow it anymore) (The Picture) 2) The Czerka Mercenaries rebbeled too soon against Czerka. I haven't even completed the "Kill Lopak Slusk" quest yet, but they already go hostile, and such... Most funny is people keep saying how they "mistrust" Czerka's merchanaries, and how the could harm Citadel, even when I killed them thus... 3) Noted somewhere else (maybe in Bugs topic, maybe not): If you kill Zherron, the Scavanger still tells you to go to Zherron, if you bought the False Holocron... 3) If you convince the Refugees on Nar Shaddaa to give themselves up to the Exchange, THEN kill the leader of Serocco, the "Refugees Woes" quest will rise again from the completed ones to the active, and can't be completed at all!!! 4) If you let Handmaiden get beaten up in combat, then replace her, she will still have barely any HP if you meet her in the Ebon Hawk, you can exploit this by fighting with her then... She has no change with her 10- HP... 5) If you talk to Hanharr about killing his tribe beginning with "A bounty-hunter said you killed your whole tribe" the convo ends right away... More most likely coming soon... -
It is not needed. If you fight her, you will see it anyways. Take a look at the Attachment... You will see similar things when Traya attacks your party. Then take a look to her Attack Breakdown and her Defense Breakdown (when you attacked her) Note that Then see any other additions after you used Force Powers you have found out that it is still in effect. But as I said; Don't expect it... As you can see from the Screen Kreia has no modifiers from me at the moment. Class 31 (lvl), dex mod and base are not Force Effects. I have no idea if I had Force Effects on at the moment, but if you see an 4th modifier here after using a defensive power, she will profit from your powers. If it stays 3 (note that her Defensive AC is dependant on your chars power/lvl), who are not changed from before you used your Force Power, it has proven the Bond doesn't work her, technically... This one displays my PC's attack. A similar line of numbers will appear if Traya attacks your PC, allowing you to see her Attack, and your own Defense AC (if it isn't the same as in your char screen you noted a bug, there are some...) If it wasn't my furthest Savegame was before entering the Harbinger, I would check it myself... damn 1.0B... Nope. We are getting abit Off-topic here... But still look into one of the game's many possible "overlooks"
-
Oops, other stats... In the Quest tab, click the button for the Feedback... There click combat, and then see by the Defense breakdown and Attack Breakdowns if bonusses you have from your Powers also apply to Kreia (But as I explained above, I think it will not...)
-
You can do so by checking the Stat page. If you used Force Speed or such and see the bonus for it in Traya's defense statics it is... But I don't think it is, truly. The bond only works on Kreia, and that is most likely also the reason why Kreia is Traya on the Final Battle..., to prevent such things from happening. Also note that the Traya you face is different than the character in your party. When you fight in Korribans tomb you will note that she will use powers you have given her and such, but things like that won't happen in the end-game battle... The skin change has nothing to do with this though, as in Korribans tomb she also wears that and is still called Kreia. It is mentionable that any Force Powers activated THERE do work on the other...

Where to get Music from the game?
BattleCookiee replied to SniperRu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Yes, you will notice a large quality boost in KOTOR1's songs, since KOTOR1's are originally already Stereo, and higher quality Also with Winamp you will notice that it plays KOTOR1's in stereo (since it is Stereo music), and plays KOTOR2's with Mono, since it is mono music, it won't try to force it Stereo, as it will have no effect, since it ain't included in the file to support it... -
TSL Restoration Project: Work in Progress
BattleCookiee replied to Aurora's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, you could also do like in Korriban KOTOR1... Let some Human speek Twi'lek... Enough VO lines for these, and you can place anything you want in the text beneath... -
Er, that would be because Kreia lied to you. Nope, see above poster. Vash explained why you could kill Kreia/Traya on Malachor V without killing yourself, yet not before. Except since that was cut, such questions can and Will raise, without a proper answer (if we weren't so sneaky to search through the hidden material ) So Kreia did not lied...

KOTOR 2 for PC Glitches
BattleCookiee replied to Damnhippies50's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Reloading a save and then try doesn't work? Reloading the game doesn't work? Restart your PC doesn't work? As then I don't know, but usually one of these 3 should do the trick... -
So...Anyone else finish Malachor V as Mira
BattleCookiee replied to Jambo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I recall that one too, but I thought it also said that you couldn't reach Kreia that way? And how can you FORCE Mira to stay (instead be (un)lucky)? -
Well, hours have passed, let's see if I can respons "civilized" now... My mother E-mailed me this week telling me about an article in this months Readers Digest. I picked up a copy today and it tells of Devin Moore an 18yr. old who shot three officers to death and led police on a brief manhunt Agreeing here upon statements above. This guy has killed cops and is unlickely to NOT be sentanced for Death-Trial (unless he lives in one of the USA's Non-Death Penalty states) Upon being apprehended Moore first asked officers to "Please shoot me. Please shoot me." I wonder why the cops didn't even done that? Didn't he killed 3 partners before and shown he is dangerous and could even have a go at the people who arrest him? And later in the jailhouse spouted these wods of wisdom, "Life is like a video game. You have to die sometime." Wisdom, eh? Anyway, to blame it on somethings a guy says once, and you can convict the Whole World for "who knows what" Moore had never been in any real trouble before this, perhaps some minor "offences" Which are still criminal acts... anyways and played Grand Thief Auto So was this the game? (mispelled?) so of course the video game industry is to blame for his actions. Yep. Ofcourse. Also noteworthy that this would be posted into the article far before the result of test that point out he was Pchysically ill at a young age... Jack Thompson, a Miami attorney and antiviolent videogame advocate This guy is on a wrecking campaign against R* on such cases, but also suffers from some things, like how he thinks he can wholesomely improve the world by his "Crusades" (see his email adres JackPeace (something) sightes this case in a $600 million civilsuit (consisting of himself, and the relatives of the victims of Moore) Wonder why the parents aren't there? Don't they have to witness the Trial of their child? against the entire chain that makes, distributes or sells GTA. That incompasses Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., and Rockstar Games; the Sony Corp. of America, and retailers Wal-Mart and Gamestop As I stated before. If you start suing retailers, why only 2? It is not like only two companies are the only ones to ever sell GTA. Afraid of bad publicity himself, if he sues all GTA sell-points??? To prove his case Thompson intends to present neurobiological research that shows how children's maturing brains are organically conditioned to respond in certain ways to specific types of stimuli. Which process should be ended at the age of 18, the Age you are allowed to play any of the GTA games. If you play GTA before that age, you really have no rights to blame R*, since you were "Illegally playing the game" anyways, and that is something R* can not prevent, only governmental rules on shops... Over time, studies suggest that learned responses become hard-wired into the brain. Video games can be particuliarly effective tools for that wiring because they are interactive. Yep, to the weakminded and the young. These people shouldn't play videogames in the first place. And the will also be influenced by other media, like TV and newspapers... Moore came from a broken home; Which is a (already in history) proven point for causing violence and anti-social actions his parents, who never married, went through a nasty split when he was very young I know quite some people who had something like that too, and they are always seriously messed up from it, and all the complications included in the divorcing procedures. Most of them play games too, yet none have after pulled a gun and shot some random people, due to it... The prosecution's own experts has diagnosed Moore with post-traumatic stress disorder stemming from a turbulent childhood. Yet THAT they don't have. And it seems proven that he it left more marks on him than an avarage person, allowing games like GTA to give him ideas, since he was already weakened mentally to see the difference Real-life/game before playing so
-
Wasn't planning on doing so... I don't want to make them feel dumber than they already are... P.S. Sorry for the often use of Retard, Lunatic and such, it is just that this Thompson dude still haven't learned, and some still believe games cause Mass-Murderers that gets me irritated...

Well, here we go again: My mother E-mailed me this week telling me about an article in this months Readers Digest. I picked up a copy today and it tells of Devin Moore an 18yr. old who shot three officers to death and led police on a brief manhunt. Upon being apprehended Moore first asked officers to "Please shoot me. Please shoot me." And later in the jailhouse spouted these wods of wisdom, "Life is like a video game. You have to die sometime." Diagnosis: Total Lunatic... Unlike the other 99.9% of Game players.... Moore had never been in any real trouble before this, perhaps some minor "offences" and played Grand Thief Auto So he is a criminal, unless with Grand Thief Auto you mean the game GTA and not jacking cars in real-life (typo or intention?) so of course the video game industry is to blame for his actions Obviously. Blame the video Game Creators... There wasn't insanity before the Video Games came <_< Jack Thompson Known anti-Rockstar dude, that they even let him in a case against R* with his pre-base negative comments. Prob. never played GTA himself... a Miami attorney and antiviolent videogame advocate A.K.A. Useless guy sightes this case in a $600 million civilsuit (consisting of himself, and the relatives of the victims of Moore) against the entire chain that makes, distributes or sells GTA. Why not let the parents of the Lunatic pay instead of R*, didn't they cause this??? That incompasses Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., and Rockstar Games; the Sony Corp. of America, and retailers Wal-Mart and Gamestop 2 Retailers for Video Games??? Who is the Lunatic here. The 18 year or Thompson? To prove his case Thompson intends to present neurobiological research that shows how children's maturing brains are organically conditioned to respond in certain ways to specific types of stimuli And since Mr. Luni is 18 the process should be ended. If he played GTA before 18 the parents are to blame for creating a Low-Intelligence Luni..., as they should never allow their kid to play it if it was seriously crazy Over time, studies suggest that learned responses become hard-wired into the brain. 18 Video games can be particuliarly effective tools for that wiring because they are interactive. Yep, but to infants (less than 18) or people with low intelligence... Moore came from a broken home Fact 1 that proves R* innocent his parents, who never married, went through a nasty split when he was very young. Fact 2 to prove R* is innocent and the guy went mad young without parental guidance The prosecution's own experts has diagnosed Moore with post-traumatic stress disorder stemming from a turbulent childhood Final Point: R* is innocent, the kid was made like this in his childhood...

Plot Floors of kotor 2
BattleCookiee replied to LORD GRAVEN's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
1) No, in the cut-scene you see the Ebon Hawk land into the Hangar 2) Could be..., yet to disable the security systems During an assault, yet have them on in the peace therefore is a bit The Kreia let him/her in is a better explanation IMHO, even if it has flaws (or my memory has some Major Flaws... ) -
Plot Floors of kotor 2
BattleCookiee replied to LORD GRAVEN's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Don't recall that. Didn't the Exile came (unexpected, if I listen to Atris before the battles...) to 1) Kill her (Revange, DS) 2) Purify her (LS) Out of his/her complete free will after the assault on the Ravanger? (Basically nothing is said about this, as you just wipe Nihilus and without a single convo you get back to your ship and find yourself after some cut-scenes on Telos Academy, finding that she teachess the DS-Side from Kreia (despite her "Anger for going DS with Revan on Malachor5's battle and Kreia who was supposed to be "Neutral" even if we all knew she wasn't...)) -
KotOR II Movie/Music Patch Coming Soon
BattleCookiee replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Bugs, no Added content: Yes (Can be as small as a little ship with an enormous rich Pazaak player and uber-item seller...Mmmm, sound fimiliar ) -
Plot Floors of kotor 2
BattleCookiee replied to LORD GRAVEN's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Also another Hole in the plot to think about (Remembered this one after reading the Help plz. topic somewhere down...): You can't go back to Telos Academy as Handmaiden doesn't give you the codes EVER Then Handmaiden goes herself So you enter the Academy without knowing these important codes, and without a Handmaiden who knows them Could be Handmaiden landed and used the codes to dissable and allow the Exile to land after, but hey, why would they not get the defenses up after leaving a ship through? -
Where to get Music from the game?
BattleCookiee replied to SniperRu's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
But it does have a much better sound quality than the game's... Indeed it has ...ragardless of what you say about the quality from Grisky's site it is much, much better than the game. Ehm, yeah, that's what I said, so Regardless??? @SniperRu: You can download Miles Sound Tools (http://www.radgametools.com/mssdown.htm) and you can listen to the game tracks without having to rename anything. The worst of this one is that you can only listen to 1 at a time. I used both, but prefer Winamp as you can just select all of them and then listen to all of them (Always shuffle) behind each other, without reloading after every song ends... The player also has reverb and stereo effects built in so it actually makes the music sound better anyway. Don't notice any difference... I think the K2 music you're looking for is also found under the name mus_jedi.wav Mus a 650? Indeed it is the same as that one... but I would seriously recommend getting that one from the site Musopticon? linked to. Agreed...
