Where did this screen shot come from?
Jambo replied to Jambo's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I know it's from Ludo Kressh's Tomb on Korriban, but I never encountered the screen shot during gameplay. Did you? -
I know some screen shots are from the developmental stage, but some of the screen shots I've came across either are almost identical to what I've seen in the game or I did the math and concluded that some of those screen shot are possible. This is one of those screen shots that I thought I might come across, but I never did. So, has anyone come across this
-
Of course, during the long wait before TSL came out for PC, I looked at screen shots just to tide me over. IGN had a 16 or so pages of screen shots. Some of the screens shots looked like they were taken late during the developmental stage of the game. There are others that I know are genuine screen shots from the game because I've either encountered almost indentical screen shots or I did the math a firgured out, "Yeah, that screen is possible." But there's one I encountered on IGN that left me wondering, "How come I never saw that?" So, anyone every seen this during gameplay?

I HAVE beaten KotOR 1. I've beaten it 12 times. So, could someone briefly explain what I do with these? warp tar_m10aa warp tar_m10ab warp tar_m10ac i.e. where do I type them in at? I'm not at all familar with warp cheaps or anything like that.
-
yeah, found the sound files, but I don't where to look for the scripts. I probably don't even have the right program to look at the scripts. So, how do I use these warp cheaps? It just so happens I'm still on Taris in my latest KotOR 1 game, before I got KotOR 2.

so, um, tell me a little more about this glitch in the tomb on Korriban....

yes, sir. god bless lucas arts. they're such a reasonable company, willing to sacrifice perfect release date timing for a completely finished product...I mean, nevermind. I take all of that back. So does anyone else find the Swoop Racing way too difficult, aside from the bug?
-
This has probably been mentioned already, but Obsidian is going to hear the same problems repeated over and over until they actually solve the problems. I can't finish any swoop race ANYWHERE. I make it to the end without a problem and the guy at the sdesk just says, "Sorry, but you're going to have to finish the race if you want to qualify." Also, swoop racing itself, is just WAY too damn difficult. You just barely tap the "A" and "D" keys and you go all over the damn place. The Left and Right controls are WAY to touchy and swoop racing, as a whole is near impossible for people like me that tore it up it KotOR 1. Thanks a lot, Obsidian. You've effectively made me hate Swoop Racing. You guys knew it was easy it KotOR 1, but you definately went over board here. A novice should be able to place in Swoop Racing.

Wait, wait, wait. What was that about the third Vulkar Base level? Does that have anything to do with sneaking into the Vulkar Base and posing and lab technians, stealing spice for one of the Vulkars, and getting a garage access card without brute force?

Damn, I didn't expect THAT many replies, but I guess I'm not the only one that had a few questions. Thanks for all of the replies. For reason, I have a feeling that this thread is going last few more days.

What did u find on the mummy in Freddon Nads tomb

O.K. the correct sequence of math symbols is x,-,+,x, as in (6x2)-8+9x1=13, correct? Did anyone figure this one out because I can't. -
Does anyoen know if there are any extras in the PC version of TSL, like Yavin Station in the KotOR 1? If there are, what are they?
-
I was just wondering what party members you can turn into Jedis and how. I know about Bao-Dur. "Hey, Bao. Maybe you should become a Jedi." "O.K., General." And just like magic he's Jedi Guardian. So, who else can you convert an how? How Far into the game do you have to be for each? I'm Dark and the only thing I can say to Bao-Dur is "Nevermind." Do you have to be Light Side for some of them?

Well, as I recall, all of the NPCs that didn't know any better, thought that Revan was dead. Anything can happen. She may not have been "all the way dead." One of the Jedi Knights may have thought that Revan was taking too long and could have stubbled across her on there way to make sure Revan didn't need any help. Remember, this is the Force we're talking about here. At this point, Malak himself could drop out of the sky and I wouldn't bat an eyelash.

Obsidian wrote that ending....my God. George Lucus could not have wrote a better ending. My God.....I...I take back everything and I mean everything bad I ever said about this game. If this ending was implemented, this game would by far, have surpassed the first one. And I MEAN that. NO ONE could have written a more dark, and telling, and relevant ending. That ending allow would be worth the cost of the game. I say they re-release the damn game so as to make the Xboxers happy. Us PC-ers don't have much of a problem on that end. It would definately be worth it. It.Would.Sell.

O.K. to the people that don't understand the complaint about: "1) Character sheet to show which powers, stimulants and effects are On during game/battle. There was this feature at KOTOR I (on the light-dark meter). We can have it here too." The problem isn't that it doesn't exist. The problem is it couldn't be any more inconvenient to access that. It's the same way with the Dialog and Feedback. You have to go through the Journal to acces the Dialog/Feedback and Effects. In KotOR 1, the Effects were right there at the character statistics screen and the Dialog/Feedback had it's own screen. But I do like the fact that they have the Combact Feedback separate from the non-combat. Oh, and please fix the damn dialog. If I complete a quest for someone and come back and talk to them later, they talk to me like I've never seen them before. Also, if I do something that's part of someone's quest, but didn't know it and go and talk to them, I am unable to tell them "Hey, don't worry. I already took care of that." I hate that. KotOR 1 did not have this problem. And if you expect to keep the pro-BioWare people happy, and you guys are the ones doing K3, you need to fix even the minor problem. The BioWare people were perfectionists in that respect. Some people expect you guys to be the same why. Take care of the little stuff, too.

First Bungie, now Obsidian?! Stop the MADNESS!!!
Jambo replied to BruceDickenson's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, now that I've expressed my opinion of others, I feel that I should express my opinion of the game. Simply put, I loved playing as my party members. I loved playing as Atton, as the three that raided Freedon Naad's Tomb, as Mira, Hanharr (badass), and even as the two that rescued the Exile on Goto's Yacht. AND playing as Remote was cool, considering than I'm an over achiever who always kills every bad guy, and beast. It definately made the game more interesting. I remember in KotOR 1, when captured by the Leviathan, it was so much fun to play as someone other than MY character. I just thought to myself," I wish there more parts of the game like this." and damn if I didn't get my wish with this game. If I was stuck with the main character in my party the whole time, I'd probably only give this game a 62%, but since this game is the way it is, I give it a 73%. It's great to rely on the other charaters. It allows you get know the characters better because I have a tendency to use the same ones over and over again. -

O.K. since I'm relatively new, I can give an unbiased response to the bickering that seems to be going on between Mr. Dickenson and Mr. Anakin. Mr. Dickenson you seems to overly critical and somewhat of an a**hole. You need to take a deep breath and calm down. It's just a stupid game. Just ignore posters who try to undermind you. It is their intention to get your attention and if you ignore them, it'll piss them off. I know that from experience. Mr. Anakin, you seem to be a little immature. Mr. Dickenson is correct is saying that your post count is no badge of honor. It is no indication of superiority over other members. So, don't use it to feed Mr. Dickenson's anger. He's already pissed off enough. Whether it's the game that has angered him or he's alway like that, let's keep things civil. -
O.K. First off: I'm having a problem with opening doors, specifically on Narr Shadaa. In the Docking area, there are two doors that both lead to the same area. I can see on my map that there is something behind those doors, not just a faded background. Anyway, when I put the cursor on the door, the action icon does not pop up, so I can't open either one. Another problem is on Telos, in the apartment areas, when I run or walk, my character moves in "pulses." What I mean by that is he is constantly speeding up and slowing down over a short period of time. He''l go fast for like 1/4 second and slow for 1/4 second. It's very annoying, but luckily it only happens in the big open apartment areas, but no where else. Now, the big problem: I'm currently on Narr Shadaa. I've gone down underneath the Jekk-Jekk Tarr Cantina to rescue Mira, who ends up rescuing herself. I get to the console to unlock the entrances. Then after using my character to kill all of the Ubese bounty hunters, (discustingly easy), I go to that same console, check for the possible escape routes, can't go out the way Mira did because the action icon won't show up when I put the cursor over the door. And I can't go out through the Cantina because it says the door is still locked. So, what's the deal? How did everyone else get out of there?

I'm having some trouble on Narr Shadaa. I'm in that Quarren's underground lair underneath the Jekk-Jekk Tarr Cantina. Now after using Mira to unlock the entrances, I killed all of the Ubese bounty hunters. After that I went to the console that unlocked the doors, checked for any possible escape routes and it said that there were two: the one Mira took and the one through the tunnels from the cantina. Now, the one to the cantina is still locked and I get go out the same way that Mira did because the Action icon won't pop up when I put the cursor over the door. I've had that very same problem with a couple of other doors, too. So, how do I get out of this place?
