  1. Iirc, that was the point. Coke's sales were slipping, and it was attributed to Pepsi's taste being preferred. So they mad a new drink that was more like Pepsi. Personally, I didn't like it, but I'm not really crazy about Pepsi either.
  2. From the article They're not traitors or terrorists, they just want to, with the help of the US Military, install Donald Trump in office and forcibly remove all Democratic politicians. Riiiiiight. Do I believe a non-profit organization that takes donations to translate into bail for low income, homeless, and people of color would, by the nature of the judicial system, provide bail for people who would turn out to commit further crimes? Sure; I believe that would be true of any organization that provides bail. Do I believe that same non-profit would tell someone trying to get data about the individuals it'd helped (which, as far as I know, they are not legally required to do, because it could arguably not be in the best interest of those they help) that they could not provide that information? Why yes. Yes I do. Do I further believe that if that individual who was refused the information from the charity posted news articles under the nom de guerre "Tyler Durden", that they would then post about it in an innuendo laden article to try and imply several unsavory things about the charity and the people it helps? You bet your sweet bippy, I do.
  3. Headfirst (who'd done Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth) was working on a video game adaption of DEADLANDS that I was looking forward to. Obviously Headfirst's bankruptcy ended that.

  11. The lawsuits Trump filed, as far as I know, concentrated on Georgia (16), Arizona (11), Pennsylvania (20) with additional efforts in Wisconsin (10), New Jersey (14), and Michigan (16). I don't think their goal was just one or two states, I think there goal was to always flip three or more to secure Tump getting over 270 electoral votes.
  12. Doesn't stop the conspiracy types, though. They claim the Republican observers were tricked into going home and that the count shouldn't have continued (even in the face of the GA law that only says observers are allowed, not required being presented to them), that the election people once the observers left pulled different official tubs than the ones they put under the table for the count, and that people were scanning the same ballots multiple times, you just don't see it on this video. As I mentioned earlier, there are no facts that can defeat a conspiracy theory. They're fact-proof for the believer.
  13. Wouldn't Apple and Google vis a vis Parler be the better analogy with Apple and Epic rather than Trump v Twitter?
  14. These forums aren't the primary support for the outer worlds. Devs help as they can, but per the Support page for outer worlds the primary support is From Private Division

  17. And that's a problem? There's a difference between "They're lying!" "No here's proof" "Okay I guess I was wrong. My bad" and "They're lying" "No here's proof" "YOU'RE IN ON IT TOO!" Can the government lie and cover up? Sure. But the more people who you include in a cover-up the less likely that cover-up will succeed (IIRC, there's a statistical estimate for the minimum number of people needed for the liklihood of exposure of a lie or cover-up being exposed). For the "Stolen Votes" theories to be correct a large, large number of people in both state and federal government have to be in on it (there's 159 counties in GA alone, each running their own elections with significant number of people involved in each county), so its already on shaky ground as a theory. Hence why, without evidence to change my opinion, I classify it as a conspiracy theory.
