  1. Vaudeville isn't dead, its merely resting...
  2. Maybe its that I'd never go to something on the off chance that a not-yet-identified something might be good? Maybe its because if I'm going to a concert, it'd be for an act or acts that was known to be there, not for some secret act that was unannounced? In that case, it'd be irrelevant if TayTay showed up. Maybe Taylor Swift wanted to do some Metallica covers and it might be weird but good? I dunno, I can always walk out and I wouldn't feel cheated because I was there for something I knew about - no expectations, reasonable or otherwise to be dashed by the surprise mystery guest. And I certainly wouldn't pay money to go to Blizzcon for something that, regardless of how good or bad it was, I'd be able to find out about a couple of hours after the reveal is made (if that) by checking the internet.
  3. i don't really get the fervor over Diablo: Immortal personally. It seems to me it went something like this: Blizz teases something new in the Diablo world PC Diablo fans assume that its something new for PC because it just HAS to be for PC because reasons Blizz reveals mobile game PC Diablo fans upset because their pulled-out-of-their-ass assumption that the new thing was a PC game didn't pan out PC Diablo fans angrily spew over the internet. I get it, the internet is pretty much for knee-jerk reaction hate these days, and maybe I missed some teasing from Blizz that would have made me think it was a PC game, but nothing I'd seen as of now made me think it was a PC game. So it seems like the usual nerd rage on not getting exactly what you wanted whether that was a reasonable expectation or not. I'll probably never play Diablo: Immortal, so frankly its existence is irrelevant to my life.
  4. You can't divide by zero, so its a nonsensical statement. New thread - https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/106670-more-funny-than-ever-funny-stuff-topic/
  5. Its not just been reported by CNN, but by Fox, National Review, Washington Examiner, etc. as well. And electronic documents on the filing are in some of the news reports, like the Fox news web report. People file legal claims all the time, even spurious ones with no basis, or with the intent of drawing attention to a cause. I believe one of the law firms is a human rights focused law firm, all the lawyers would need would need though is to find individuals in the group willing to be the plaintiffs in the suit, and make it class action so others can be added to it. So I'm a little confused here as how the media has undermined its own credibility by reporting on what appears to be a true news story...?

  7. Okay, I'll see what I can do to get it to someone at Obsidian's attention.
  8. Just to make sure I have the facts, you sent an email to support@obsidan.net or the contact page at https://support.obsidian.net/contact for this issue and haven't heard back? Is the 9 days inclusive of weekends? EDIT: Alternatively if you could tell me the day it was sent so when I forward the issue on to higher authorities they'll have an idea where/when to look.
  9. Not really sure if this should be here or in random, but putting it here because of the science (new and old).
  10. 40 is a bit early for shingles, sorry to hear you've had a manifestation of it.
  11. Don't really care for a respec feature in games; rarely would I use it (I restart so often to finally "find" my initial PC that by the time I do get the one I like I'm usually pretty well versed in the system). Since its unlikely to me that I'd use it, its existence in a game is irrelevant to my experience.
  12. Isn't Mutant and Mutant Chronicles related? IIRC from what I read Mutant was revised into a space version which was the basis for Mutant Chronicles. Is that right?
  13. Dangit, I actually forgot the Master was in Deadly Assassin. In my defence I haven't watched it since 1996 or so... Edit: and Invasion of Time went back to galifrey and had sontarans in it...
  14. I get that its artificial in its way, but I figure it'll never really last so I guess it doesn't bother me as much. Sometimes figuring a way to work around something can be unexpectedly inspiring. It certainly was the last time they did more than one series of no-old Villains period, the show had a pretty good track record - series 13, 14, 15, and 16 have a number of important episodes that introduce concepts that became cornerstones to later series.
  15. Eh, they've done it before in classic Who with respect to no well known enemies (Series 7-9, Series 13-16) and Pertwee was consciously launched to not rely on the Daleks and Cybermen or traveling the cosmos (the Daleks didn't start sneaking back in until after the tenth anniversary serial, THE THREE DOCTORS). And for me, I'd rather there be no arc than a bad arc.
  16. Does the Cleric spell created Spiritual Hammer hit Karoug? I can't remember.
  17. My least favorite fight in BG.
  18. true that , i want to see original of that gentleman with vault door behinde him opening, I can't erase him from my mind btw i found it! What the hell did I just watch? ... What the hell did I just watch?! An urban explorer(?) opening/closing a door in an abandoned(?) train tunnel in the Ukraine?

  20. Imagine how disappointing it'd actually be to meet in real life and dispel all illusion over who we really are. Unless one of you is secretly someone famous!
  21. Supposedly the worst voter fraud was in local elections anyhow, not national elections, where the voter pools were smaller and thus easier to influence, e.g. the Tammany Hall repeaters who were paid by Boss Tweed's machine to vote for Tweed and Tweed backed candidates on behalf of deceased voters.
