hell if they didnt make like 100 ewok costume they could have made like 10 or 20 wookiee ones but nooooooooooooooooooooooooo they make teddybear guys with wooden sticks!!!!!. anyway id have liked to see Malachor V and how it was destroyed by the Exile, have a flashback movie of how he chose to destroy it. Show a movie of the Republic being overrun or something and he made a split second decision that would haunt him forever and cost him more than he ever knew it would. I've always wondered why the crew never asked Exile about Malachor V when they arrived. There could have been a sequence of them all in a circle like in K1. A flashback sequence of Exile re-telling his story of the war and explaining why Malachor was the way it was and what happened would have been good. Infact it could basicaly simplify and explain better why he is an echo or what was his reasons to turning from Revan and war.

Speculation on the Jedi Masters
master_pendrak replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
the Jedi in K1 and K2 were wrong in their decision, by mind raping Revan they left the door wide open for her to fall to the darkside again. And possibly disrupt their plans for finding the starforge. Remember they only used her to find the starforge not really destroy the sith, so had she fallen she would have possibly destroyed the star maps, or locked them to her alone. In K2 the Jedi chose the wrong decision, they chose the very decision that made them sound like Kreia described. They talk but do not listen, they talked to the Exile shouted him down basically telling him he was wrong in doing what he thought was best. But never took time to listen to his point of view his thoughts and experiences. So infact from a certain point of view the Jedi in K1&2 made bad or risky to dangerous decisions in the middle of a time of crisis, which could have destroyed the Jedi Order. But it would seem that their decision in K1 infact set the stage for the destrucion of the Jedi Order in K2. Having turned Revan away from the darkside they allowed her to seek out her past, by removing her memories she was obviously going to want to know her past. Subseqeuntly giving her motive and opportunity to leave Republic space allowing the galaxy to fall to turmoil when it needed a leader, a figurehead. In a way for all of GOTO's faults and manipulations he had good interests at heart (processor ) by trying to re-establish stability that was much needed. EDIT - grammer problems, sorry if there still is some -

if you want to really just get back anything you lose, use the savegame editor to add any feat or ability or light&dark side points you may lose. -
Speculation on the Jedi Masters
master_pendrak replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Exile is a light sided Darth Nihilus as both are feeding on the force, the difference is Exile isn't doing it intentionally so i suppose it isnt as strong on his allies. Revan had no idea what had happened to Exile after Malachor V and had no way of knowing Darth Nihilus's power would come as a result of the Exile's actions. Revan's war was a private one waged against the Jedi and it just so happens the Republic allied with them. She found the Jedi to be flawed and failures and intended on a genocidal rampage killing them all so her new stronger order had no flaws from influence of the old masters. But Revan never thought that her actions could bring about the destruction of the Republic or the galaxy as a whole. By waging a civil war she weakened it more in an already fragile state. But when the Jedi mind raped her it made her realise the error in her ways and she set forth to stopping Malak then leaving for the unknown. Where she would confront the true sith (which IMO is Revan and her inner conflicts). The Jedi in K1 did good and bad in their mind wipe, they helped stop one war but left themselves open for another. Because they exiled the Exile they never had chance to understand him. Or what had happened to him since the Mandalorian War so when Nihilus shows up they are unprepared. In K1&2 the Jedi make too very fatal errors, fear and arrogance cause their downfall in the long run. Fear in desperation at trying to stop Malak and Arrogance in never trying to learn from Exile when they had the chance(s). Their actions in K1 brought about their failure in K2. -
what people fail to remember is the Exile wasn't cut from the force for a year or two, he was cut for nearlly a decade. A decade on his own without the force where as Revan was months possibly a year or two. But then again Revan wasn't Revan when she/he lost the force they were mind raped and given a new identity and skills on how to do things. Like fighting probably considering you wake up on a military warship and have combat gear. Aswell as having Jedi escorting you no doubt from the moment you woke up from your mind transplant to the moment you end the game basically. Exile has had to live decades surviving with his own instincts and experience aswell as the memories of the horrors he wrought at Malachor V. Exile had lost his thirst and call for war because he had killed so many at Malachor V where as Revan hadn't. You could say Exile was not only afraid of what he'd done but also at what would happen if he did fall to the darkside with Revan and join her in the Jedi Civil War.

Speculation on the Jedi Masters
master_pendrak replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Revan wages a war to eradicate the Jedi Order feeling it to be weak and flawed that should the Sith return the Jedi wouldnt be able to deal with any new threats because of their failings, flaws. But when it comes down to it Revan could be this "true sith" that is a danger to the galaxy. Her private war with the Jedi could infact bring more harm than she intends even if she means to strengthen the galaxy with a stronger Jedi Order. And for all her moral reasons for using the darkside to wipe the Jedi out she becomes nothing else than another Sith Lord in a long line of Sith Lords waging war with the Jedi and Republic. Jedi have grown arrogant and unchallenged in the field of wisdom and knowledge. Sith wars before Revan's had been just mindless battle, slaughter and conqeuring. Revan waged a private war with the Jedi alone not just battle and slaughter but about the Jedi Order as a whole. Its philosophy and thinking its teachings and teachers, its ideals and the many flaws they created. She hated them for their flaws and felt a change was needed to strengthen the galaxy and preserve it for the future. And the only way to do it would be to wipe every one of them out and start a fresh Jedi Order. One without the influence's of the old, and in being able to accomplish this, being able to persuade Jedi stuck into the belief of their old Masters she needed to convert them to her way of thinking. But the Jedi Masters in K1 IMO knew nothing of her reasons for war at the time and in an act of desperation raped her mind to use against her. In K2 however the Jedi are destroyed basically in a final act of fear, arrogance and hypocricy they dont try and learn what happened to the Exile. They simply try to break him or destroy him which in an Ironic turn of events breaks and destroys them. So Jedi hypocricy is the doom of the Jedi themselves, their arrogant hypocritical ways doom them to their own destruction in a certain point of view. Had they thought to understand why Revan went to war then maybe she would never have fallen. Had they bothered to learn from the Exile then the last of them wouldnt have been killed. -
Revan is nothing without the force though, yeah on Taris no force and she/he got by but when you think about it the Exile did the same on Peragus and lived many YEARS before then without the force and survived. Revan lived maybe a few months? possibly a year or two?. There is multiple reasons Exile could have returned to the Jedi to face judgement and most people probably think of cowardness. Which i semi agree with, the Exile killed more people in the Mandalorian Wars in one move than Revan or Malak or anyone combined. He/she killed millions during Malachor V disaster and IMO i think thats what made him/her return to the Jedi. The simple fact that Exile killed so many might have meant he/she had no more desire for war, the call of war stopped and his/her thirst for battle was quenched. The only Jedi to have ignored the call of war of battle and returned to the Jedi. Because his/her thirst for it was quenched in one move unlike the other Jedi who still craved it and fell to the darkside under Revans converting methods. Because they hadn't killed on such a scale as the Exile to be able to quench that thirst that hunger for war. Perhaps the Exile was fearful that if he/she joined Revan then they would cause a repeat of Malachor V or worse. In the end the Exile was afraid of what he/she had done, what he/she might do and cut his/her force connection at the disaster of Malachor. Revan might have accepted what he/she had done on Malachor V but he/she didn't do anything as extreme as what Exile did. Revan never killed millions by her/his own hand at once, there is a difference between wiping out millions at once and over time during a war.

Speculation on the Jedi Masters
master_pendrak replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
i'll be honest when i say i dont truly understand the "your an echo in the force" thing but i have the feeling it means... when something dies it leaves an echo which slowly disappears and is replaced. IE when 1 person dies another is born somewhere and fills the gap. But the Exile should have died but cut his force connection in time leaving an echo that has never healed because while he was dead in the force he was alive physically. So if thats correct then technically the Exile doesnt have his "old" force connection because an echo is there instead. So he draws upon the force from other sources. Thats why the Jedi found him a threat, although i feel they never truly understood him and what had happened. But in K1 the Jedi raped the mind of Revan in desperation just as they were going to strip Exile of the force completly or kill him in K2. In K1&2 the Jedi acted in desperation, arrogance and fear because each time we meet them something big is going on which involves them at the heart of it. -
Speculation on the Jedi Masters
master_pendrak replied to DAWUSS's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
the 3 masters on dantooine never lost their arrogance from when they punished the Exile by banishing him from the Order years ago. They cannot understand what happened to him during the war, so they fear it. The only way they see to solve the problem is to cut his force connection or kill him. So infact to the Exile the Jedi and the Sith are no better or worse than each other, the Jedi wish to harm him, the Sith wish to harm him. He is feared and hated from both sides of the force you could say. I was a LSM and helped Kavar purely because he out of the 3 Masters seemed to want me back from Exile. I let Zez-Kai Ell live because he too was thankful for my return. Vrook was the usual scorning me for my actions, but i let the old fool live purely because i didnt have an option to kill him. But in the end they all tried to kill me and Kreia saved the day. I think for gameplay purposes you are given the choice of being a light side Jedi or darkside Sith so a player can have a sense of feeling within the storyline. But in reality i think Exile is meant to be neutral like Kreia, because he isnt a Jedi and he isnt a Sith. His years in Exile produce a neutrality within him and thats why the 3 Jedi Masters on Dantooine dont ask the Exile to join them fight the Sith. Instead they try to damage or kill the only weapon that could save them, which causes them to be killed anyway by Kreia. -
Exile would win purely because although Revan is strong, without the force he/she is nothing. The Exile has lived with and without the force and come back stronger each time. Added the fact Exile has force bonds and could in theory just drain Revan of life, of the force by just standing in Revans presence. Who knows what may happen if Exile intentionally used and directed those bonds to drain Revan, he/she may perform a Darth Nihilus type move and kill Revan instantly. Too much credit is given to Revan even though he/she basically led the Republic to victory doesnt make her/him strong and almighty powerful. Exile is the only other apprentice to ever reach the same skill and above as Revan had achieved at the hands of Kreia. Which in my mind makes Exile equal to Revan in most aspects. Their only difference is when Kreia looked at Revan she saw the heart of the force but saw the death of it in the Exile. It wouldn't surprise me in KOTOR3 that Revan is infact the new sith threat and we have a Revan vs Exile duel at the end. honestly id say it would be pretty even but ultimatly i think Exile would win if by just a little. as for people saying the game lets Exile have better stats etc....i can only wonder what made them post that.

how many people despire malachor V
master_pendrak replied to a topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The reason (IMO) KOTOR ending is better is because it emphasises on Malak. The many cutscenes involving the dark lord really psych you up for the final battle. Because you get to see how darkside he is from the Taris Destruction, Sith Lightening Bastilla etc. KOTOR2 however doesnt do this that much, i mean Darth Sion is given some credit and i thought his introduction was great and so was his final fight and ending, it was well thought out. But throughout the game the spotlight seems to be on Darth Nihilus who was, crap. Nihilus looks the part he has the whole Sith Lord image, aswell as planet killing powers etc. But we dont get to see this at all, all we get is Kreia and Visas telling us how powerful he is. Sure he comes to Telos with a Sith fleet, but that doesnt prove his power by this point in the game for me. Ive been told you can kill planets with the force and you come to Telos with a FLEET of warships?. Had we had some scene where Visas shows you images of her planets destruction through the force, or seen cutscenes of him. Then id have believed the whole, "You arent strong enough to face him yet exile" thing. They needed to have made Nihilus live up to his hype which he failed miserably in doing. Had the spotlight been on Darth Sion more considering his ending and introduction then yes i would have thought the KOTOR2 ending was better. Also if we had seen the Atton vs Sion fight then that too would have just bolstered Sion's Sith Lordness and total evilness. Because even as a male Atton is always there for you which makes him a good friend or in the case of a female a possible love intrest who has died. Giving that whole "your going to pay for that" feel in your fight with Sion. Now when we got to Kreia/Traya i was pretty happy, i thought she filled her role better than most of the events in KOTOR2. She was powerful in the force how i had expected her to be and less so with a lightsaber. I thought after you killed her it could have been better, infact after Traya's death the game ending sucks totaly. The bit about you going to follow Revan i did like but they could have shown an ending sequence with everyone around the holoprojector in the Ebon Hawk with Exile explaining what Kreia said. For he/she is the Exile neither Light or Dark but grey and alone.... thats my take on events in the game and how things should have been, most of it probably wont go down well or be understood by the majority. But oh well what can you do? -
how many people despire malachor V
master_pendrak replied to a topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
i liked Malachor V it had a haunting feel, returning to what should have been the Exile's grave. And the academy slaughter is all the more effective for me since seeing ROTS where Anakin rampages in the Jedi Temple. Here we have Exile rampaging in the Trayus Academy, reversing everything. And as stated above it shows the power and strength Exile has and has learnt from Kreia. -
revan will be the true sith IMO, true sith doesnt mean a new race but could mean as in like palps was the true sith behind it all in the movies. my theory is exile uses his force bond power to either kill and destroy revan or make her realise the dark side is self destroying. Rather like using a super powered force persuade. so i think the pair will meet in a showdown like, Anakin and Obi Won Kenobi in ROTS. Which would be cool so long as they dont involve lava/fire/burning then it wont be a complete copy of the idea.

The color of your lightsaber?
master_pendrak replied to WOW's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Silver, semi-neutral-lightside, dark brown or grey robes with a single lightsabre with a hilt crossed between Anakin Skywalkers and Exar Kuns. My only niggle is the fact the lightsaber blades are too short.... -
Id like to see bioware and obsidian together making KOTOR3. As long they dont rush it and mess it up or cut out key/exciting content like they did for TSL. The first game had good stuff it was great to play and had some cool and interesting ideas which made it extremly fun. TSL was bad (bugs, missing content, continuity issues, content etc) but it was very good too. The theme/plot was exciting it never had me thinking this way or that i always just thought something was gonig to happen only to be proven wrong by a plost twist which made me excited and want to play more. I never expected Kreia to actually turn on you although its quite obvious when you play it again after your first time. I hope bioware if they do make KOTOR3 put in some ideas for extra content. Different saber hilt designs, make the blades as long as Malaks saber, different style robes etc. And if obsidian can come up with a storyline like TSL (without the continuity errors and errors in general) then the game would be a success.

IMO 'Exile' is Kreia's answer to fixing Revan who is destined by the force to be corrupted by the darkside each and everytime they come across it again and again. Revan told canderous and carth to prepare for war because deep down she/he knew that inevitably they would lose her to the darkside and she would wage war again in the name of the sith But Kreia felt with 'Exiles' powerful force bonds and enough training perhaps they could use it like a massive force persuade on Revan instead of draining Revan to death. And make him/her stop falling to the darkside, stop the possibility of another Jedi civil war. And if the 'Exile' killed the force then there would be nothing to will Revan to join the darkside because a darkside wouldnt exist therefore another jedi civil war would never start again. my two cents anyway

for all the smart arses out there....go to the option screen to change your avatar. then choose KOTOR2 avatar gallery. And you will see that there is more than just this avatar that im using, what i wanted to know was where could i find the full size images of ALL or SOME of those avatar pics. ....notice the S on the end of Avatars???? hmm now i know im new and that makes me some wet behind the ears n00b i understand that, but read the post carefully before you suddenly think "omfg what an idiot!"....i know i could find a good image like my present avatar, as that sith lord is quite popular among the advertisments for the game. But if you look at the avatar choices there are numerous other ones which im interested in finding full size images for. so if anyone can ACTUALLY help me instead of saying im an idiot then please do so if you think im an idiot fine, but dont go an waste your time and mine saying it. and yes ive searched through the main site, google and a few other search engines ad cant come up with the pictures im looking for so this you could say is a "last resort" making a request thread on a forums board.
-
you dont think ive tried that?....anyway if you bothered to go there youd know it aint on the site, well i havent found it anyway and ive scoured that site for it. so if anyone DOES know then please tell me where you found the fuller sized images.
