  1. Me too, but my comment had more to do with the whole "comics aren't for mature readers"-issue. I mean; sometime around -95 Uncanny was just insane with the T&A. They could have just wrote "Only for 16 or younger" on the cover. Nowadays the plotlines make up for it, but back then...
  2. Could we just change the topic title to something like general comics/animation thread. This thing could have potential. Has anyone read any Death? Edit: Meshugger is going to have an interesting year watching and reading all these. Pysy j
  3. Really, if one can ignore the latent pin-up-shots the artists seem to love, there's a world of good stuff in X-men comics.
  4. From what I understand it deals with past happenings and special issues.
  5. Well, Uncanny is the main line, for starters.
  6. http://www.griskey.com/ K2 composers page. Some real quality stuff. Now playing: Kotor March(End Credits)
  7. And read the original Hellsing manga. The story so much better in that one. Too bad for the series that they chose to go with such a let-down plot.
  8. Feeling especially moody today, are we?
  9. By the way; I unrecommend NGE. The characters and the ending are just unbearable. Even Outlaw Star didn't have so annoying personalities as NGE. Horrible.
  10. Thief: The Dark Project Ingenious, clever challenging and enthralling. No contest.
  11. I'm reading a scifi novel named I am Legend by Richard Matheson. Damn clever plot engines and the setting is just evil. One man against a whole world gone mad and he only squirms in his past. Next up is Dan Simmons Hyperion. I've never read it, but have heard good things.
  12. I third(fifth, whatever) Cowboy Bebop. The movie Knocking on Heaven's door is sometimes even better. Same goes for Last Exile. The visuals are amazing and the idea behind the world quite ingenious. Well worth watching. I also recommend Witch Hunter Robin. It's a sort of a detective series, but with the "detectives" being withces hired to hunt their own kind. The main character is fairly angsty for being a girl who can materialize flames with a nod, but otherwise the story rules. Can be a bit twisty sometimes. Then there's Ghost in the Shell sequel, Innocense. Quite grabbing and feels even more Asimovian then it's predecessor. The visuals are of course, grand. And so is the soundtrack. Samurai Champloo has to be one of my favorites ever. Fun as heck with great action artistic direction. I love the mix of thematic elements(daimo/hip hop) they used. Featuring probably the most original cast of characters ever. Except Jin.
  13. It has something to do with holocrons, I presume.
  14. Let's not bring it up again. You know, the fans...a scary bunch.
  15. Traitorous bastard.
  16. What? No love for Cher?
  17. The chorus goes like this: Ia Namtaru Ia Lammia Ia Asaku Ia Pazuzu Ia Zixulzi Azkak Ia Gula zi Pazu Alal Uggae Utukku Xul Ia Ia Pazuzzu Let's just say that I didn't buy the new Potter book.
  18. About swedish: Matriculation exams. You know how it is. About Tuska: Damn great. Being my first time it was surprisingly easy to mix with the crowd. And cops only picked up one stoner. It's a great feeling to yell Finntroll's Ursvamp together with 3000 other peeps. Primal Fear was great, so was Destruction, Scarve, Wintersun and Apocalyptica. Weather also rocked; sun shone from dawn till dusk unhindered. I'm definetly going next year too. Damn shame I missed Slayer when they were at Sauna Open. It would have been grand screaming Angel of Death from the bottom of my lungs.
  19. I remember that. Tecmo Japan supposedly sued the team who made the modification. Remember lads; if ever should such a contraption cross thy path: only for research
  20. I should be reading swedish grammar. I should.
  21. I just assumed he was sitting on a little Korean boy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I shouldn't laugh, I really shouldn't. But, man...
  22. Is this the un-official spam venting ground or what? Still alive and kicking.
  23. Well, it will be a blockbuster in ze Germany, innit?
  24. I have a hard time identifying with this music. Hmm, 80's... Norgay... Bathory!
